Trying to Milk the Cows

I was working on a dairy farm and it came time to milk the cows. There were other workers there, so I watched one get a 5 gallon pail and climb a ladder inside a silo that was alongside a barn (the barn, silo, and ladder were white) He climbed onto the same floor as the milking parlor where th cows are herded to be milked. I decided to do the same thing same, but I got frightened at 64 feet above the ground. Then the farmer came to talk to me and he told me to come back down becuase I wasn't quite ready to do all of that climbing. Instead, he wanted me to teach math to everyone at the farm. If I would do that, then he'd teach me how to climb the ladder so that I could milk the cows.
Any help is always appreciated.
