what does it mean? i'm desperate for answers

i keep on having dreams about this guy that i consider a brother, he's not actually my brother but he's like a brother to me, in 3 of them we were dating and then in one, i just liked him and in the last one, he liked me....i've been wondering for a long time what these dreams mean, and the only possibility that i can think of is that i like him as more than a friend and this depresses me a lot, what do you think??? i'm desperate for answers

You are sexually attracted to this person, however you have a moral imperative to keep your distance.
Your dreams are basically sexual, but your reason for keeping the friendship platonic, influence your dream and you subconsciously turn the dream into a dream of innocence.

Dating dreams and sex dreams don't necessarily mean that that is what you want. It may just mean that you want closer communion with him as a brother.

Now if there is a part of you that wants to have sex with him, then this is a way to vent that safely, and you should stay away from him.

i was never really attracted to him in any way though, before me and him became friends, he was my actual brother's friend, and i thought he was good looking but i was never attracted to him in any way...and i never thought about him in any way other than friend....the only time i wondered about how i truly felt about him was after the dreams and before that, there was no question, he was my brother, not technically but he was my brother
