Hooks and Nails in my Feet

Hi All,

Just an interpretation request for an aspect of a dream that I had last night. In one part of the dream I removed my boots and realised that I had loads of hooks and nails which were made of plastic, sticking into the soles of my feet. They were extremely painful and each one was surrounded by a big welt, like a huge mosquito bite. I sat down and started pulling out all of the nails and hooks and when they had been removed, my feet healed almost instantaneously and went back to normal.

I have been trying to do an interpretation myself and have looked up the meaning of 'nails' and 'feet' in the dictionary here, but I just wondered if anyone might be able to provide any more insight!

You took it out.Your feet mean your job.
Hooks means bad moral men, or children.
Nails mean promises or big important people.
All of them teasing you and you will put them aside.

Thanks for the replies! Thanks for the good advice Dream Doc, I have been trying to do what you suggested, I've been reading over my dreams and noting down the key words, trying to see things from a different perspective. I think that the hooks etc in my feet might have been emotional hurt from family and people around me, and I try to remove these hooks by retreating into my own space, meditating and trying not to be overly influenced by them.

Varzandeh, thanks for the information, that interpretation of Nails meaning promises or big important people might ring true in my case, I have just gotten back in contact with some high-flyers that I used to know and am having to resist their influence and keep going on my own path.
