Purple Roses

I was surprised to see another rose dream. I read it and saw roses mean children.

Last night I also had a rose dream but in my rose dream my husband gave me money and I went to the store and got myself purple roses. They were beautiful. Purple roses are my favorite rose. What does this dream mean?

Purple means christianity.
Rose for young ladies who aren't married or are newly married means kids specially if a passed away relative if given.

The rose in western culture is often seen as a symbol of courtship. Because a rose is simply a flower, it also represents the idea of the wisdom that is the culmination of an individualÂ’s growth. Seen in this way, the rose can thus represent the idea of compliments to both a womanÂ’s wisdom and/or beauty.

The scene indicates that your mind (represented by any male) has given you thought power (money) – thinking which has some value. The dream suggests you might be using valuable thinking when choosing to buy/accept the idea of compliments to yourself.

As these roses are purple, it would imply that the idea of compliments to yourself is an idea of quality - a royal idea, one of the best. The fact that they are also seen as beautiful, would confirm that such compliments to yourself are good. Compliments to yourself is an idea you can favour.

Personally, I would not see the roses here as representing an individual because the roses are not seen on a living plant. These are cut roses.

In this case the dream probably depicts some way in which you have chosen to seek sometime that is beautiful and enjoyable (perhaps romantic). Your husband is giving you the choice and will encourage you and give time to do whatever you want. In real life terms it probably means something like this

"If my husband was to allow me to choose then I would probably just choose something enjoyable and romantic"

"Yesterday my husband was in a good mood and gave me the opportunity to do what I want. Most times we would probably have just done our own things. But he was definitely giving me some time and talking to me. It was a real change from the usual routine"

What exactly is a dream? A dream often captures some new thought or feeling or fantasy. Often deeply embedded in it is some idea or thought. Try to bear that in mind when understanding a dream. But recently I have become universally unpopular". But we could also see Tony Blair in another sense. He is the ally of President Bush and is often accused of doing everything he says and because of this has been accused of being a poodle. So maybe the dream captures some theme with a similar "yes man" theme. But Tony Blair could also have different meanings. He has virtually said that he will resign in the spring and there was much speculation about this and about how he should go about resigning. Maybe the dream captures a similar theme in your own life eg "I am thinking of leaving my job. But if I tell my boss it may cause trouble for me. I might just leave it as long as possible".

Therefor its possible to list many different symbolic meanings. Any one of these could be correct. The first association that comes to mind is not always the correct one. Its a matter of trying out different theories and then seeing if they fit the situation or feelings within your life. If one seems to work then try working in the other dream symbols.

yes I can see that. actually before the dream we did have a nice talk.

nice to know that all dreams are not bad. Though most are usually on the negative side as we do not usually dwell on things that are good.

The truth is that dream interpreting is not so easy. Yes you can tell what dream symbols mean by matching them up to real life. For instance a fight scene in a dream may depict some real life fight or frustration that you are struggling against. But interpreting dreams blind is not so easy. Dreams symbols can have many meanings and few symbols appear in some totally clear way. A shark may appear in a dream but in a very non standard way. For instance a shark maybe hidden under the floorboards. A shark maybe dancing with your grandmother. These are not easy to interpret. But just try to remember that underlying any dream is some concept feeling or idea. The dream mind deals with thought processes. It deals with emotions such as love and trust but also creative ideas. So try to place your dream symbols in the here and now.
