Default Fortune teller & walking on the sea

I had ONE dream that consisted of 3 parts:

Part 1- I was relaxing on a speedboat with my ex-boyfriend. It was a sunny day. But the boat kept sinking (not completely under the water), then we'd just pull it up and continue sunbathing.

Part 2- I was by the sea and it was a really sunny day. The dream was VERY bright, it felt almost like a fairy tale. There were lots of people (I didn't know most of them). I was about to step onto a boat, when I realized that everyone was walking ON the sea (their feet weren't sinking into the water, they just stepped on it like it was jelly). I just stood there staring at them because I couldn't believe that they were walking on water.

Part 3- A fortune teller (an old woman called Madame Gihad) said that someone will turn 21 years old and a lion will try to drown them when they turn 21. In the dream I knew it was me because I am turning 21 yrs old next week. No one would listen to her in the dream except me.

This dream must mean something, I've never had one like it. So could anyone help ?

Thanks

Hi,
If one's boat sank means she/he will receive some power from a big boss.
The people who were walking on the water are the real believers that their belief is true.
Lion means a king or the government , I didn't understand what the lion did with you?
good luck.

There was no actual lion in my dream. This is what the fortune teller said :"When you turn 21 years old, a lion will try to drown you". I think she was using symbolic language or a code or something. That's why I don't understand it.

Hi Shy girl

Well the dream possibly depicts your present feelings. Just because itÂ’s a weird dream and seems important it does not mean to say that itÂ’s important. Many dreams like that may have a simple and mundane meaning. Most dreams find their solution in day to day reality and ordinary emotions that we should be able to recognize.

You are turning twenty one. That could easily link to the dream as you see this connection. The lion then symbolize some thoughts linked to this. Do you feel afraid to be over 21 perhaps a sign that you have to show greater responsibility? What about the actual day of the dream? You are called shy girl after all and so it may link to you not wanting to make a big deal out of this.

------------------------
When you get a dream first try to see it in simple ways. In a very simplified version think if the dream is good or bad. If you feel good in the dream and things are going well then just sum up that portion of the dream as "feeling good". Then try to see where you are feeling good in life. Is there some relationship that is making you feel good? Is there some situation that cheered you up yesterday? Are you generally feeling good right now? Such simple clues are the easiest ones to trace. So instead of getting caught up in the details of the dream first take an overview. Many dreams work through changes in our feelings and will describe ways in which our emotions transformed. So first reduce your dream to a simple list of emotions such as "I felt good and was optomistic", "I was confused" and "I felt frustrated". The basic details of the dream may involve all kinds of symbols and hidden meanings but often you get the best clues from the feelings. If you take the above list of feelings in the dream it maybe exactly capturing your feelings from the day before when "I was really looking forward to work yesterday. Then a colleague started to interfere in my work project and I became angry. My ideas were undermined and I ended the day feeling frustrated". The dream itself may feature all kinds of silly details which bear no resemblance to reality but the dream captures the exact feelings and emotions over some specific incident.

Hi Shy Girl,

It may be that the meaning your dream holds is suggested by this section:

Your thoughts in this dream are precise--the fortuneteller was talking about you. Her reference to a lion is a description of behavior and drowning is a reference to being overwhelmed. What she is actually predicting, as you may unconsciously understand, is that you could be overwhelmed by some irrational behavior upon turning 21. Very often in dreams, lions reference fierce pride and independence. Perhaps this dream describes your thoughts on the prospect of turning 21 and how you may be adversely influenced by the liberation and privilege reaching this age of adulthood. I hope this helps.
