Scaling a Sandstone Cliff
I was with a group of young men and were we descending a sandstone cliff that had huge boulders. I was afraid of falling and I tried to see where the men below me were placing their feet and hands. This way I felt that I could scale down the cliff safely. However, I could not see their hands nor feet clearly so I knew that I had to rely on my own judgement. As I descended, there was a spot where I had to jump between two boulders. This scared me so much that I could only stand still. However, after much urging from the others, I told myself to take a leap of faith and jumped. To my surprise, I was able to leap to the other side and I was alright. After this, I knew that I could scale this cliff successfully.
Any help or interpretations are always welcomed.
