Attacked by a Mountain Lion

I was in a grove of trees with a group of people and somebody had a mountain lion there. We were gathered in a group and talking. While everyone was talking, I was eating a bag of potato chips. Then I noticed the lion lifting its head and watching me as I ate the chips. Quickly it attacked me. As I fought it off, the others in the group pulled it off of me.
Any help or interpretations are always welcomed.

If one dreamt was fighting a lion means he will fight and argue with an enemy or rival and the one who was the winner ( lion or him) will overcome.

Well within dreams its important to make associations. Here its easy to see that the lion is a symbol of threat. Its raised its head towards you. Try to think of some threating comment or threatening look where you sensed some emotional or personal danger. Try not to see the lion as a symbol that you are going to die. I dreamed last night I saw 2 deer on my lawn I was sneeking up on them to scare them away. I saw something move in the shadows. I thought it was a rabbit but as I got closer I saw that it was a mountain Lion stalking the deer. It heard me and turned to face me I started to back away and growled at it but it kept coming closer then I awoke. Any Ideas?
