The Island and the tornado

I just had this dream, and it was a bit different. Lately, I've been reading C. G. Jung's Book, "Man and his Symbols".

Here it isI'm male by the way)

So I'm with this guy, who is much older than me. We're looking out on the water at an island and we wanted to go out there. So we get down by the shore, and we're going to head out on a boat or something. Not like a big boat, but maybe like a dingy or maybe even logs of wood tied together. So we're getting ready to head out there, and I see this huge tornado out in the distance behind the island. So we're both watching this tornado, sort of internally debating whether to go to the island, finally the guy I'm with wants us to go, we'll sort of go around it and try to miss it.
I didn't like that idea, and sort of fled back to my house. So I'm back of the house which is a couple miles from the shore. I'm in it, looking out the window, and far away, I can see this huge tornado, but I also see two smaller tornados that are closer and moving much faster. I recall one that was moving really fast sort off half a mile away. Eventually one of these smaller comes toward the house, I remember ducking down in front of the window as it hit, It didn't do any damage, but it seemed to just hang over the house for like 15 secs. All I could see out the window was just sort of the inside of a tornado.

Just thought I'd ask about this, umm, it seems like it was trying to say a little more than what my other dreams do.

Hey thanks for your take on it. I don't recall it being windy though. Just twisters. Like I know tornados can mean an emotional storm.
Do you know what the symbol for the island may mean?
