Extremely frustrating dream

Hi all,
I had a very frustrating dream last night. I was at some event, a dance audition or something, and I met another woman there and we got to talking and when I left I offered to give her my e-mail so we could keep in touch. But every time I tried to write my e-mail I kept getting it wrong. I would write it wrong or it was sloppy, so I kept trying. I had a notebook with me and I kept tearing pages out of the notebook and re-writing it, and I was getting very frustrated and angry. Then my mother walked by and yelled that we had to go but I yelled to her that I couldn't go yet, that I had to give this woman my e-mail. I never did get it right and give it to her before I woke up. Any ideas?

If you refer to the dream dictionary advanced here you will find out that getting angry for something material and yelling means you will be proud in a case and won't heed for morals in a matter.

It almost sounds as if there is a female (other than your wife, that's if you are married) who interests you and with whom you would like to develop a relationship but your conscience (or better-self) is advising you against doing so. Take heed!

Hi Jennings- That's interesting... I'm actually a single woman, but I've been thinking about your idea. There's no woman recently that I'm trying to become friends with. I have a male friend that I've been thinking about, but I don't think I want to get romantically involved with him, so it's not much of a dillemma... Any comments? Thanks!!

Thanks for the feedback; it forces me to examine more closely the general theme of your dream and now that I know your gender it provides another perspective which does not mean that I am about to get it right but let's try.

The salient points or clues seem to be 'a public place'; 'befriending a woman'; 'wanted to keep contact'; 'became frustrated and angry with yourself for losing address'; 'your mother demanded that you had to go but you wanted to find this address'.

This sounds to me as if you are in, not so much a social scene but something more structured like work and someone has departed with whom you would like or need to maintain contact but you may have made a blunder which has frustrated you and you've become angry with yourself. It looks as if you have been searching and the boss is prompting you to possibly get on with your work but whatever it is something is holding you back in both directions and hence the frustration.

If this is wide of the mark then hopefully some of the other posters may get closer to your target. Feedback, however, irrespective of its nature, is welcomed.
