I Was a Fugitive
It was Christmas Eve and the sheriff was looking for me. What crime I had committed I didn't know. However, I stayed ahead of him but I began to tire of running. Then I went to a church with my family for Christmas Eve and I saw the sheriff there. I decided to ask him why there had been a warrant issued for my arrest. When I got close to him he put a twisty tie around my left index finger and it felt like that my finger would pop off. He then told me to see a bailiff concerning bail so that I could spend Christmas with my family.

You feel innocent but the finger of suspicion is pointing to you. While you have been able to justify your actions so far the constant pressure of inquisition is affecting you. It almost sounds as if you may have been arrested and given bail. You probably feel that rumour is affecting your home life and your own standing in society. Whatever is happening around you, is certainly concerning you.
