"Ghost girl"

The other night my 3 y.o. son woke during the night so I went up to his room and slept in the spare bed. While I was asleep, I dreamt I was laying in the same bed and I woke up and looked towards his closet where I saw a ghostly looking young girl staring at me with a knife in her hand. I then woke up with a fright. I have a 4 y.o. as well who suffers alot from nightmares, and doesn't like the night and hates going to sleep. Last night he and his 3 y.o. brother were telling me of a young "ghost girl" that they have seen with a knife. My 4 y.o. was a little hesitant to talk about it and naturally I hadn't previously mentioned my experience in the bedroom. I'm wondering if we've all seen the same girl and what is happening in our house. Any answers or solutions?

Hi,
Children are very observant. My guess is that they overherd you relating your dream to someone and now they are frightened. Other pssibilities are that they heard you or your fimily talk about ghosts.
It is probable that your dream was caused by sleeping in the strange bed in your children's bedroom.
Tell the children and yourself that there are no ghosts. It is your own belief that is the more important.
