Default God kicked off throne - 9 yr old daughter's dream

The angels voted and kicked God off the throne. Heaven was now underwater and was no longer beautiful. The angels used human people who died as their gods & goddesses. Everybody who died first went to a torture chamber. In the torture chamber, people turned into skeletons as they were being tortured. Their bones were then crushed into powder. While in skeleton form, a god or goddess selected who could come out of the chamber and come into heaven. If their bone was crushed, they could not leave. A goddess, unhappy about the way things were, killed herself so that God could regain the throne. Then God returned to power and fixed everything. My daughter thinks she was the goddess who committed suicide.

An interesting tale and one not easily analysed but it makes me wonder if she has been chastised or punished or felt a bit overwhelmed by circumstance possibly outside of your influence. It almost seems that she may have a Christian background. The cause of the problem may have been removed or remedied and she is feeling that her sacrifice (punishment) restored to her life her protector (yourself). I am uncertain about this translation.

I AM ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN WHAT THE DREAM MEANS, FOR THERE IS A GOD IN HEAVEN THAT REVEALS MYSTERIES.

In the Bible, Satan, an angel, rebels againist GOD and a third of the angels rebel againist him. They attempted to dispose GOD from His throne. There was war in Heaven, and Satan and his followers were cast down to the earth. The BIBLE says woe to the earth and its inhabitants because Satan has been cast down to you! He is angry because he knows his time is short. The dream tells the same story.

The rebellion of the angels did take place and when the angels rebelled, they went to earth and fornicated with human women. The BIBLE says 'nephilim' or rebellious angels, were attracted to human women. When they went to earth, they brought with them their rebellion towards GOD. Thus all mankind became polluted by them, both spiritually and genetically. Since the angels couldn't defeat GOD they thought they would make their own creation, since GOD created humans in His own likeness, the angels wanted people in their own likeness too, in order to try to undo what GOD had done. This is what the dream is referring to when the angels voted to rebel and made humans their gods. That is essentially what happened. The purpose of the Flood was to wipe out the work of the evil angels. These rebellious angels are the ones imprisioned between the Tigris and Eurphrates waiting for the time GOD releases them. Because the descendants of these angels were wiped out in the Flood, and because of their long imprisionment, they will be angry once released. The BIBLE says they will be released in order that they torture humans who have continued to sin againist GOD as punishment, and they will be very eager to hurt humans.

Everybody who died first went to a torture chamber where they became skeletons and their bones were ground to powder. They were also judged. This represents the sinners who reject Jesus suffer in this life and the next. Jesus said He is the ROCK, and anyone who falls on the ROCK will be broken, but on whosoever the ROCK falls on shall be ground to powder, just like the skeletons in the dream. Those who fall on the rock represent people who have sacrificed themselves by submitting to Christ, for the BIBLE says the sacrifice He desires is one of a broken spirit. Your daughter sacrifices herself to GOD by submitting her will to His, and thus makes right her relationship with GOD. When this happens, GOD promises HE will fix everything. Heaven underwater represents Baptism, and Baptism represents death to the old sinful ways of living against GOD and the ressurection of a new life obedient to GOD. I submit that the translation is true and trustworthy.

THE BIBLE SAYS IN THE LAST FEW DAYS BEFORE JESUS COMES BACK AGAIN, THIS TIME TO JUDGE THE EARTH TO PUNISH SINNERS AND TO REWARD THE RIGHTEOUS, YOUNG CHILDREN WILL HAVE SUCH DREAMS. I HOPE YOUR HOUSE IS IN ORDER, I HOPE YOU ARE READY FOR HIM TO COME, BECAUSE BASED ON THIS DREAM, HE SHALL BE COMMING BACK SOON.

Perhaps your daughter had too much religious education and she is fed up with it. I think this dream was dreamt while she was feverish or feeling ill. It is too strong a dream for young children. I can see the influence of some over enthausiastic adults trying to pressure her. There are great contradictions abroad and an intelligent child will soon pick it up.
Cheers Wolfjk

Thank you all for your interpretations. We are Christians, no longer church going, as we do not agree with many of the church teachings (we are/were Catholics). Religiously, we are not strict at all.

My daughter does read her bible most days. We do ask that she spend time with the Lord daily, in her own way, and we do not have her memorize scripture, we allow her to interpret the bible herself. We do not pressure her in any way. We do discuss different things from the bible and she is very involved in the discussions. We teach a loving God who is there for her needs. She has a natural love for Jesus and is very naturally spiritual. She looks forward to the second coming and is very excited about it. She is an inspiration to me.

She is extremely gifted and attends a montessori school. She is working 4 to 5 grade levels ahead. Outside of schoolwork, we place no pressure on her at all. We focus on her doing her works timely & accurately at school and practice her violin (30 minutes). She enjoys school, doesn't care much for the violin. She plays in the neighborhood afterschool at least one or two hours most days and is a very happy child. We travel a lot and she goes with us. She is our only child (which she loves) and we are very moderate in parenting. We never hit her, humiliate her, or control her. We like her just the way she is and have no intention of breaking her spirit. She is a good kid. We believe our roles to be mentors and facilitators.

She has always been wise beyond her years, even as an infant.

What do you mean "too strong of a dream"? She was feeling well when she had the dream.

We have lived abroad and my daughter has been to at least 30 different countries, so she has been exposed to a lot of different people and lifestyles.

As I outlined in the post above, we do not pressure our daughter. We try to allow her natural instincts to guide her in the spiritual arena. She feels very strongly about Jesus, Obviously, we have exposed her to the Christian religion, this is our belief, but she has been exposed to others. Her best friend is a Muslim. Her classmates (and community) hail from a variety of countries: Iran, India, China, Britain, Sweden, Turkey, etc.

Thank you for the feedback and for describing something about yourself and the family relationships and circumstance. Your daughter appears to be performing like most well-loved children who receive the full undivided attention of parents.

In her dreamscape there is an obvious conflict and confusion and hence the difficulty to its understanding. Those features probably arise from your rejection of the Christian tenets and the contradictory encouragement you are providing your daughter to learn and probably believe in the scriptures. This is not criticism; it is simply a reflection of what you are saying. It is not my intention to provide advice but you do recognise that there exists this conflict in your stated beliefs (or disbeliefs) and of that which you are teaching your daughter and it looks as if she is aware of this dichotomy and hence her dream. This difference in what is being said and what is being taught to her could be causing her concern. She is clearly perceptive and aware of what is happening around her but, being a child, she also has a fertile and malleable imagination and at her stage to life is inevitably lacking the maturity and experience to temper or understand her emotional conflicts.

Remember, I am an outsider looking in, and this is what I see; I hope this view may help in reconsidering your priorities and values.

As we are currently in the process of moving into the new year, may I take this opportunity of wishing you a happy and successful 2007.

hi Sleepyhead.

I do see she has some impressions of God that is destabilizing her faith in God. We can only connect ourselves with God with the guidance of True Teacher (WaheGuru). If it was my daughter, I would have her memorize the following verses to uphold her faith in Almighty ONE God!!

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Page 1
----------------------------------
ONE UNIVERSAL CREATOR GOD.
THE NAME IS TRUTH.
CREATIVE BEING PERSONIFIED.
NO FEAR. NO HATRED.
IMAGE OF THE UNDYING, BEYOND BIRTH,
SELF-EXISTENT.

BY GURU'S GRACE ~ CHANT AND MEDITATE:

TRUE IN THE PRIMAL BEGINNING.
TRUE THROUGHOUT THE AGES.
TRUE HERE AND NOW.
O NANAK, FOREVER AND EVER TRUE. || 1 ||

LOVE and BLESSINGS of OUR Waheguru!

WISHING YOU A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
CHEERS

Thanks Jennings.

Yes, we have had some problems with teachings of the Catholic church. As we have become more versed in the Bible, we have realized that our church has taught things that are counter to the bible. Not to offend any Catholics, or go into detail, but when we've studied the bible for ourselves over the past couple of years, we've become disillusioned with a few of the Catholic teachings. I'm ashamed to say, I had never fully read the bible, even though I attended Catholic school and church for many years. Once I did, there was no denying the contradictions. We do not reject the Christian tenets, quite the opposite, we reject the false teachings. We are quite strong in our Christian beliefs.

Last year, my daughter picked up these contradictions on her own and questioned us about it. We explained as best as we could without being negative about Catholics or churches. We told her some things are simply church doctrine, others open to interpretation. I told her she needs to read the bible for herself and build her own relationship with the Lord. The good Lord will provide divine guidance to us. HE has been very gracious to us in our pursuit. We are in the process of finding a church that adheres more closely to the Bible.

My daughter seems very content with her view of Jesus and her beliefs. I love to hear her talk about it and she has opened my eyes. She has always been very open to spirituality and is naturally intuitive. It is not surprising that she would feel some stress as she is exposed to many different people and religions. She never seems to waver in her beliefs, though. I am quite impressed of her grasp of the Bible and the Lord. I was never anything near her understanding at the same age.

Thank you rmahil for your input. We do plan to have here memorize scripture at some point. We first want her to have a good understanding of the Bible. She does have favorite passages and proverbs. She has read the bible several times.

Happy New Year to all of you. Thank you for taking the time to help us with our spiritual journey. God Bless.

Hi Sleepyhead,
Thanks for you post.

By strong dream I mean a dream that wakes the sleeper and is etched in the memory.
The reason for these dreams is usually a physical illness or disturbance that happens in the sleep. However the dream acts as a healer and guardian angel. The couse of the dream - the illness or discomfort is obscured by the memory of the dream.
Psychological hurts or worries can also cause vivid and disturbing dreams.
Perhaps your daughter is unsettled with the constant moving and changing scenery.
Cheers Wolfjk
