Running from crying woman

Hello all,
I had a dream last night that a friend of mine and I were at a party, and when we leaving the party going to the car, there was a woman behind us crying and all upset and talking to herself. My friend and I were almost at a run trying to avoid her. We really didn't want to get involved in her problems or be bothered by her so we were doing our best to get away from her. I feel like I need to figure it out, but I don't have a clue. I appreciate any help!

It helps, at times, to know the sex or the relationships involved of the dreamer but with this omission it sounds as if you were concerned (or are concerned) that you might be (in a sense) stealing this other woman's partner which would make you a female and your friend a male. Inevitably you have no wish to become embroiled in such situations and hence the running away. If this sounds like an incomplete analysis it is probably due to the incomplete information. I trust that it is not too far off the mark.
