My birthday [60th, due in a week] is being celebrated at an elegant dinner table - which in the dream is my own - with candles, a centrepiece & silver cutlery. My ‘wife’ appears Jewish as do some of the guests. For my present a parade of myself at different st/ages of my life appears in the room - lastly me as I am now, tho I still remain at the table. My wife, who has arranged this ‘by magic’ now tells me to drop my trousers. Rather dubiously my alter ego does this. She now tells us that we must all light 1 of 2 Monte Cristo cigars in our place setting. The taste is pleasant & not overpowering. She then tells us we must light the other. At this point we expect some kind of punch-line or revelation, but she leaves the room. It's all a bit lame, so I try to cover for her by saying the joke is in our expectation of a climax. The figures of myself have faded away. To save the second cigar I attempt to remove the burning tobacco, but a huge amount comes out & shows that the wrapper is made of some leaf-like synthetic material. I marvel that it can have contained so much.
I now go into another room & find myself in a W London mansion that is a senior police officersÂ’ training centre. Im watching multi-channel TV when thereÂ’s news of a serious road accident outside a petrol station appears taken by a woman on her digi-cam. Simultaneously she also appears in the room giving an account to a police woman. The attendant has collapsed on the ground in horror at seeing someone cut in two by his seatbelt in the accident.
