Ok I think I may know what my awful dream is based on last night but any help would be great. I went to bed thinking about my grandma and her breast cancer, she just finished her last chemo treatment and now will be starting radiation. I was watching this breast cancer movie and then I was reading some psychology articles. So all I could think about was my ill family members. I tried to talk to my husband about this but didn’t get much support when I told him of the articles I read and how they made such great strides he told me “my mom would never change”. We hung up on not great terms. Anyway I was thinking about all the illness physical and mental and I wish I could help but I feel so helpless. They just keep testing and testing and it takes so long and it is so hard.
Here is the dream....At least the parts I can recall. I was cooking dinner for my brother-in-law and my husband. My husband was not being very loving or receptive but my brother-in-law was. We were in some kind of an apartment type room that was in a hospital. I left the kitchen and the apartment into the hall which was the hospital part. There were strange people every were, doing dances, practicing plays, and putting on costumes, acting in the strangest of ways like for a talent show or something but they all seemed very crazy like mentally. I was looking for somebody with some kind of illness not mental illness just like ParkinsonÂ’s (something my grandpa is being tested for) but the people were all mixed up. I was trying to help sort the people who were not mentally ill and just had other ailments but it was so hard I couldn't do very much. I looked into a room of the hospital and I saw a man who was taking live lab rats and nailing them to a big fat live man. It was so sick and disgusting. I wanted to stop him but I couldnÂ’t he had to do it. I saw red blood dripping on the white fur of the rat. I am not sure if he was draining the sickness from the man onto the rat or making the man sick. But either way I didnÂ’t like it. It all seemed so bad. When I was walking to the man I woke up. Any help would be great thanks Lizzy |

Hi,
Mentaly ill people are the people who earn immoral money and some are sad and some are spending it ... Rats are corrupt girls white fur means apparently good moral moeny. Perhaps you will understand something in this regard in two months. Good luck. |

well food I tend to interpret as being linked to issues where we are trying porvoke discussion or generate interest. In thiscase it links to you trying to talk about something that is interesting you yet which you could not talk to your husband about.
Lab rats link to nbew treatments so thats some kind of link. Brothers are symbols of strong support. They show us really sticking up for something. here it captures the feeling that "I would really like for some support for me and my grandma from my husband" The plays and performances maybe symbolise your husbands reaction that you have been making a big deal out of this. That all the fuss will not change things. ------------------------ By the end of the day we are tired and exhausted. Thats generally because of how the mind is organised. We store up memories in short term memory blocks. Its only at night that we start to work through what has just happened the previous day. We reform our emotions and transfer the important bits iof information into long term memory. Then we clear the short term memory blocks ready for the day ahead and the whole process starts again. So obviously there is a strong connection between the previous day and dreams. Look for the thoughts dominating your previous day. They will probably link to your dream. http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2...howtopost.html Interpreting dreams http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2...ssayhowto.html Triggers for dreams http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2000/dreamessay.html Dream dictionary |

Unclesirbobbyrobson, Excuse me for giving such a late reply I have been very busy and had hardly any time at all. However I wanted to tell you I did read your reply and this was making so much sense to me. A very clear interpretation. Thank you. Lizzy

Thanks lizzy
Well its strange how I missed it origonally. I kind of skim read it first time and went past it. It was only a few days later that I actually replied to it. But I usually reply to your dreams as you seem to be willing to post replies and confirm or deny any interpretation. I am just sorry I did not reply sooner. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Cancer is a cruel disease. ----------------------------- Many dream dictionaries tend to share a common mistake. They tend to use symbols in only one uniform sense. They will begin each definition with the phrase "You need to be more ..."(for instance the Army in dreams means that you need to be more disciplined). This is a fiundemental mistake. Dreams use symbols in rich and varied ways. You should realise that dreams can use dream symbols in the past context, the present context and the future context. They can refer to you and your own emotions but if they choose to they will concentrate on other people and issues surrounding them.
