Asked To Go Buy My Own Coffee

I was visiting with relatives at my parents' house along with my two sisters. My mother had made coffee and told the guests to help themselves. Then she looked at me and asked if I would go to a McDonald's to buy my own because she didn't think that there was enough to go around. My sisters stayed in line, but I went and bought my own coffee.
Any help or interpretations are always welcomed.

Alrighty, that's quite a weird dream. Do you feel as though you have to kind of fend for yourself while your mother takes care of everyone else? With your sisters waiting in line, that could mean that they're "staying behind" and letting your mother take care of them while you just go ahead and take care of yourself. Does this ring a bell?
