intense dreams within 5 min of sleep
I usually get intense vivid dreams on various subjects within a few minutes of sleep. I often wake up only to find out that I've only been asleep for a few minutes but may sometimes seem like hours.
I know most dreams occur during REM but this duration seems too short to support REM stage of sleep. Any comments ?

that seems familiar
I used to have dreams like that,too.They were very interesting.The only one I remember is seeing a portrait of a blonde haired blue eyed girl.
