Default Crossing Broken Bridge

Hey guys, I head a pretty short but vivid dream last night. I am 23, a man, and I live in the US.

I dreamed that I had to drive across a bridge over a lake to go to school. While I was in school there was a car accident that destroyed the bridge (I didn't see the accident, but I knew it happened). After class was over, I drove to the bridge and got out of my car. I started walking across the bridge. When I reached the middle of the bridge, a whole section of the bridge was gone and I had to step on a series of rugs to cross the bridge. It looked something like this:

==========___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ============

When I stepped on the rugs, they started to sink into the lake a little bit. I got wet, but the rugs did a pretty good job of holding my weight above the water. I had to reach my hand in the water and paddle so that the rug I was on would reach the next rug, where I would move to the next rug and keep going. As I was paddling to the last rug, another man was on that rug and started paddling my way. We met in the middle, changed rugs, and I kept going towards the end of the rug and he went towards the beginning (at least from my perspective).

The water in the lake was dark and cold, but very peaceful. The scene was very beautiful as there were many trees and lots of vegetation on the banks of the lake. Finally, I graduated last year and I have already started my career, but I have been considering going back to grad school. I imagine that is why I was thinking about school, but I can't figure out the rest of this one, so I will leave it up to the experts!

Thanks,
ElRudoGrande

Hi,
Bridge means the governor, a king or someone who is useful for everybody.
Passing a bridge means receiving benefits from such a person. If the bridge colapsed mean that man or governor will have a bad situation or will lose some power.
Carpet or rugs means livelihoods if out of home means a travel.
River also means a big man , or the lawyer of the region.
This may have sense after a month or so.
Good luck.

Hi ElRudoGrande

well dreams can have many meanings. Just because you aren going back to grad school it does not mean that the dream links to this important situation . Dreams can link to issues very much related to the day before.

However, the best guess is that this links to the dream. Bridges often relate to decisions which are emotionally difficult to make. The bridge maybe symbolises the finality of this decision. If you decided to go back to grad school then that would be a difficult decision to change if suddenly you decided it was a wrong decision. In a way you are either having a career or at school. Its a final choice and there is no in between. Once the decision is made then the pathway back is not easy.

The best way to really start understanding dreams is to read correctly analysed dreams. I have built a dream bank of hundreds of dreams. They are all felt to be correctly interpreted. They show the types of day to day issues which can trigger dreams. Try reading them and learning. One page is the listed below which deals with dreams about death(often misunderstood).

Thank you both for your interpretations, as I now have a lot to think about.
