please interpret my dream... ex boyfriends, illness, dying

in the dream, my high school boyfriend (who is currently a friend of mine) is dying of an illness related to the liver or prostate. we are in my father's house where i grew up but my father is not there (my father was abusive and not currently in my life although still alive). i am crying uncontrollably, and i kiss my high school boyfriend sensually on the lips, smiling and crying. in the hallway, there is a stairwell and flights of stairs which are not part of the real-life house, i see a crowd of men walking up and down the stairs, and they all look like an abusive ex boyfriend of mine with different hairstyles and different clothes (all versions of brown), and he is not a threat to me but keeps looking at me. i don't feel negativity or harm at all from this. there is an overpowering feeling of warmth and love throughout the dream, mostly directed toward my high school boyfriend and swirling through the air so thick it's almost touchable.

for your interpretation. what about the crowd of men on the stairs? and is there any significance that we're in my father's house... or maybe it's because i lived with my father when my high school boyfriend and i were together (almost 20 years ago). i look forward to your reponse! anyone else??
