Hi everyone!
I'm new to this dream site! I have a dream I've posted on other dream sites, I wont type out the whole dream, I think I understand it now. But I never got a reply about the most important part. I have a place in my dreams I go to ever since I can remember. Whats strange is I never really conciously knew it until I had a bad experience there lately. I was bit by a snake that was thrown on me by two people who were mocking me. The pain was intense and didn't leave when I woke up, neither did the intense heartbreak I felt over the incident. Anyways ...........I have dreamt of this place countless times. This place is extremely familiar to me, and I always get the feeling that it's a secret, that not very many people know about it. Most of the time I don't want to leave I generally love this place, although I have some memories of wanting to flee from it. It is almost a small town in the mountains (which leads me to believe it's spiritual) I can see the city I live in from it (Las Vegas). I remember a man bringing me there with a father feeling about him.( I believe to me, this represents God) We always drive up this long deserted desert road on the way there. There is always two houses on the way, one under construction, and one built and lived in maybe. After the snake and the girl mocking me left me, in the most recent dream I'm aware of, the man who always brings me there came to me and assured me it would never happen again and kept apoligizing and comforted me. Other people that were with him where going to look for them. My children were also with me in this dream and I don't remember them being there before.(they're 3 and 5) Does anyone know what this means, this place , I haven't gotten much response about it. I understand dreams pretty well but I've never heard of this. |

Hello,
Sounds like you already understand the portion of your dream regarding the snake that was “thrown on you” and caused pain so I’ll move past that. The man that is a fatherly figure is one of your guides. (One of Gods workers’) This is the reason he feels/seems so familiar – and comforting is because you know one another. This was all agreed to prior to your Earth sojourn. You’re taken to a ‘restful’ place to recharge your batteries while you sleep and bring that sensation back into your waking state. Your intuition is a work in progress –just as the house (mind) is. You’re being asked to have faith this rejuvenating space you visit is accessible to you here on Earth. It’s a work in progress, already partially built. You’ve learned from experience, and yes will not be required to experience that again. Allow the law of one – the law of reciprocity to work, it always does. Sometimes when we need a vacation or time away and are unable to get away or to take the time out we need, we’re taken to these places in our dream(s). The quiet of the mountains, the serenity that setting offers is your element. Thus you're taken to your 'home' away from home. A home that is on the other side and also reflects the state of your mind. A peaceful work in progress you wish to attain in the here & now, and loved ones to grow and experience it with. Hope that makes sense and helps you out, take good care. Kelli I know what you mean about the responses… Even after taking time & effort to interpret many never bother to respond. |

Thank you so much for replying to my dream! I'm sorry it took me so long to reply! I haven't been on this site for a week or so.
What you said makes perfect sense! I kind of had an idea of what the place meant, but I second guess myself when it comes to my own dreams. People in my life come to me all the time with their dreams and I'm surprised at how easy it is for me to interpret them, But I become lost and struggle with my own! Anyway I want to thank you for all the details, like about the half built house, and the man I really had no idea about that. I feel my eyes have been opened more. It means a lot to me personally and spiritually, what you wrote. You answered all the questions I had about the dream I really appreciate that! Can I ask you a personal question? How do you know all this? I've read your posting a lot on this site and find myself intrigued by what you write. You seem to know so much, and you seem very spiritual. I was so excited to see you responded to my post! Thanx again! God Bless! |

Hi Serenity,
No worries. You’re most welcome any time. I’ve stepped away for a bit myself, busy working on knuckle interpretations for the time being after my 3D corp world job. Have a few pairs to work on. It’s fascinating to see what shows up – visibly. I draw it up & once I show it to an individual they can see it too. Thanks so much for your feedback & confirmation. I totally understand that – we’re so close to ourselves sometimes it’s difficult to gain clear perspective. How do I know all this? You do too! It’s more of a matter of remembering what we forgot. I’d say it progressed from “dreams.” a lot of prayers... Thank GOD for our dreams. There’s more to them than ‘just dreams’ as some believe. For me dream interpretation comes through telepathically, clairsentience, intuitive… so I listen & type. Sometimes it’s a song that starts playing in my head & the words have a message. Gee years ago I tried to take a metaphysical class to learn the art of dream interp., & got kicked out! Missed my bus after work to the other side of town & was a little late – so she told me if I were a serious student I’d have been on time & told me not to come back. That made me all the more determined to learn it some how, some way. And so I did. Mostly through reading Edgar Cases’ books, & then from recording & interpreting my own dreams. Never know myself what might pop up. At work on the phone with a customer one day a familiar smell came on so strong. Before I could stop myself I’d blurted it out & asked her if she was eating French fries. (I’m in WI & she was in FL) She asked why & I told her because I could swear I smell them & no one in our office had an order or was eating any. She told me no –she wasn’t & quickly hung up. 3 days later she called back and asked if I remembered her – and that it freaked her out at the time. She asked how I knew she had an order at her desk she was eating. Aha – my nose didn’t betray me after all. That’s happened a few other times over the phone. Once with someone burning incense & it was so strong it nauseated me so I had to hang up. Another time cigarettes… Both were in different states & the individuals told me yes they were burning incense & the other had a cigarette burning. There have been times I blurt out whatever while my husband is driving. He gets frustrated reminding me that I don’t drive & know nothing about cars so HOW could YOU know?! At the time I told him I didn’t know – only that’s what I heard there’s something wrong with the water pump & to pull over. He did after I nagged him enough & the guy looked at the car & said there was nothing wrong with it but something else. The following day he called to tell me I’d have to hike home from work. He was at a station & the water pump had to be replaced. Thank GOD for our guides & angels – another time he was driving fast up a steep hill. I holler SLOW DOWN there’s a woman & a dog in the middle of the road. He thought I was nuts. Thank GOD he listened otherwise he’d have killed them. They stood less than a foot over the top of the hill – talking to another woman on the side of the road. We’re all more alike than different - really. Honestly it’s a matter of listening & trusting those 1st impressions that come to you. Keep up the great work you do helping others understand their dreams. Thanks again for sharing your dream(s)! I’d best fly- my cat’s waiting for me to play. Take good care~ ~Showers of Blessings~ ~Kelli~ |

Hi Serenity - thought I'd share a quick angel encounter with you if you're interested. If not - no biggie. Honestly happened.
My husband and I visited Mexico, and of course it was my bright idea - as always to stray off the beaten path. Felt a little eerie traveling down streets in a rather seedy part of a town. No sooner had that thought crossed my mind, a double take proved two shady characters following behind us. Their pace quickened - our pace quickened. I couldn't understand their language but I understood the look in one of the mens eyes. He wanted my purse. We began to run, and they followed suit. As we ran I turned to catch the gleam of sun rays bounce off an object. My husband turned also and told me to RUN faster, one had a knife. Inwardly & probably outwardly too I cried out and asked God, any available angels to please HELP us! No sooner had I asked - a Mexican woman appeared at the bus stop and apparently knew the characters, or so it seemed. No words were spoken, only a scolding manner used to motion them to back off. Surprisingly they completely dropped their threatening demeanor and walked away - no questions asked. She never said a word to us, only smiled and we smiled back. Though I thanked her (I did know the word Gracias). She waited with us until a bus arrived a little while later. Boarding first we heard her speak for the 1st and only time - she told the bus driver WHERE to drop us off though we hadn't told her where were staying. We did understand the name of our hotel out of the fast paced Spanish spoken on our behalf. She moved ahead of us as we paid our fares. She sat in the 2nd open seat back from the front of the bus. I meant to thank her once again and thought perhaps she changed her mind and went to sit in the back of the bus, since I no longer saw her. The bus driver was perturbed, standing to question the people near the front because she hadn't paid her fare and he intended to collect. (Someone that understood Spanish & spoke English explained to us what the commotion was about). So though I offered to pay the pesos, he was on a mission to find her and insure SHE paid her own fare. No one seemed to have seen her. He proceeded to walk to the back of the bus checking every seat looking for her. When unable to find her, he hollered something in Spanish. The people in the front seat mentioned she had just been sitting in the seat next to them and was suddenly gone yet no one saw her get off. I offered a 2nd time to pay her fare, this time he grumbled, took it, sat down, and we were off - safely seated in a bus. What a small fare to pay in exchange for her heavenly service. In retrospect - it never dawned on me at the time. Only later did I realize that we received assistance from an angel. ~Love n Blessings~ ~Kelli~ |

Kelli,
Thank you so much for sharing that! How awesome! I love stories of people seeing angels. I've never seen one that I know of, like that anyway, but I definitely believe! I too have had intuitions, but mild, you know the classic "I knew something bad was going to happen" or I would feel shaken or sick when something happens to someone I know. But wow you really have a gift. The closest I came to seeing an angel is this(and to be technical I felt it was a spirit guide) but anyway, I was sitting on my couch, doing nothing special when I got that feeling, you know, the one you ususally get when your worshiping or praying, that feeling that something wonderful just entered you. Well it came, and I immediately knew the spirit, who soooo obviously looks out for and guides me, was there, so I asked in my heart if I could see her, then I closed my eyes and there she was! She was a whitish gold color and she was wearing like a cloak with the hood on and the hood was shaped like a rounded triangle. This, of course, startled me immediately and I opened my eyes and she was gone. But I'll never forget it. It was so real. I'm curious as to what REALLY intrigued you about dreams. For me it was my own. I had really............dark, dreams ever since I was a child. I thought they were normal nightmares until I started telling people about them. People would look at me like I was insane, which prompted me to find out if I was. LOL I read every kind of dream book I could find. I was probably about 13 when I started this, and quickly became obsessed with finding an answer, which I never completely found. I still have them but their far from the same. Ever since I gave my heart over to Jesus, the presence that occupied the dreams is rarely there. And even if it is, it has no power over me anymore, like it used to.( I think this was the snake in the above dream.) I call out to God(in my dream) then wake up from it. I'm not sure what it was. Please feel free if you have ideas. Anyway I have to go out to lunch with my coworkers. I write here from work(shhhh) LOL. I'm the only person in the world who doesn't have a computer at home! (Yet) I will check this again before I leave here today but please forgive me if I don't reply again until Monday. Sorry. Thanks again! God Bless! |

Hi Serenity,
I sent you a personal message. Please let me know if or when you have a moment if you're able to access it. Otherwise I'll submit it here. Hope you enjoyed a great lunch out! Have to laugh about you being the only person w/o a computer. I actually wouldn’t have one either except my husband worked on fixing them. They had an old one at his work they borrowed out to him. Then lost his job in downsizing & they told him to keep it because it was so outdated. Lord knows computers have yet to be my forte! I don’t have a cell phone either –and prefer to keep it that way. Kind of beats the purpose of intuition in a sense. You’re most welcome – wasn’t sure why exactly but somehow was supposed to share that with you. You never know when or where – and God knows I felt like an idiot not having figured it out at the time. Think my heart was pounding from those 2 guys… Was pretty amazing how she stepped right in. Like you, I know they exist. The main thing is to trust your intuition the way you do. Thank YOU for sharing your story about seeing one of your guides on your couch. Isn’t that a wonderful & unforgettable experience?! Especially when it’s unexpected. ~Showers of Blessings headed your way~ ~Kelli~ |

Hi Elohim333
I cannot believe that you got kicked out of dream interpreting classes. Its probably a good thing as your teacher sounded a bit overbearing. Reading Edgar Cayce is probably as good a help as you can get. Do you know the titles of any good edgar cayce books. I read some things on a website but could not find any specific titles. To me he does have lots of knowledge. SERENITY : Actually I think many dreams can be interpreted by using intuition. I think symbols do have common meanings but many times the emotions can be very significant. The mountain town to me suggests a place where we go to calm down. It sounds like you need to detach yourself and stop getting trapped in problems. I often say that dreams play out your current emotional state. So whenever you get this dream again try to spot the issue that triggered this -------------------------------------------------- Dream symbols seem terribly general and lacking in specific meaning. But thats often not the case. Dreams are not so difficult to interpret. Thats because they will generally refer to a specific time period. The day before the dream is very important. Often a dream represents your thoughts and emotions to some incident that happened then or simply your reaction to life in general. Dreams can reflect prevailing emotions. Your dreams will link to the things dominating your mind at that time. If your focus is on work then its likely to be a work dream. If you are thinking about relationships then its likely to focus on that. If you are preoccupied with events that are upcoming then the dream will link to that. If you are paranoid or fantisizing then the dreams may relate to that. http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2...ssayhowto.html How to use dreams symbols http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2000/dreamessay.html DREAM DICTIONARY |

Hello unclesirbobbyrobson,
How well I remember being kicked out. I was as serious as serious gets & eager to learn. At the time her words cut deep & that catapulted me in an "I'll show you how serious I am!" In retrospect you're absolutely right - it probably was best she showed me the door. Thank you for your supportive words. Just remembered the 1st book I read was called Symbols of Dreams by Dr. Jerry Rothermel (1989 paperback) A tiny little book for under $3.00 & a great start. (Think you can find it on Amazon.com) After that it was Edgar Cayce for me. From reading the Edgar Cayce books - the one thing that stuck with me is the frequent mention we are our own best dream interpreter, even though outside feedback can certainly be valuable. Although dreams often contain symbols of a universal or archetypical nature with similar meanings in diverse cultures, the Cayce readings stress the highly individual nature of dreams. ARE (Association for Research & Enlightenment) also has a site: They had a group that met here only 2 blocks from my home. However it broke up 2 weeks after I joined. How ironic each time I tried to locate a group to learn from something directed me another route by the 2nd meeting/class. So guess self-study was meant to be – for me anyway. Their site is: http://www.edgarcayce.org/ I find it easiest to locate the books on www.Amazon.com - just click on Books & type in Edgar Cayce Books & voila' My 1st Egar Cayce was The Edgar Cayce story - one of my favorites. Then it was Dreams Your Magic Mirror, etc. I've listed the titles below: Edgar Cayce 8 Book Set (The Handbook for Health through Drugless Therapy, Venture Inward, Dreams your magic mirror, The new edgar cayce, Karma, On atlantis, Guide to self healing, The Edgar Cayce Story.) by Edgar Evans Cayce, Elsie Sechrist, Dr. Harold J. Reilly Gina Cerminara (Paperback - 1970) Dreams: Tonight's Answers for Tomorrow's Questions (Edgar Cayce Guides) by Mark Thurston Edgar Cayce on Dreams (The Edgar Cayce Series) by Harmon H. Bro Phd and Hugh Lynn Cayce Dreams: Your Magic Mirror: With Interpretations of Edgar Cayce by Elsie Sechrist and Edgar Cayce (Paperback - Dec 1, 1995) Edgar Cayce: Modern Prophet: Edgar Cayce on Prophecy; Edgar Cayce on Religion and Psychic Experience; Edgar Cayce on Mysteries of the Mind; Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation by Mary Ellen Carter and Harmon H. Bro The Edgar Cayce Remedies by William A. Mcgarey (Paperback - Jul 1, 1983) Edgar Cayce on dreams: By Harmon Hartzell Bro. ; by Harmon Hartzell Bro (Unknown Binding - Jan 1, 1968) Edgar Cayce on Atlantis (Edgar Cayce) by Edgar Evans Cayce and Hugh Lynn Cayce It’s been 15 some years - If I remember right - one book from ARE that gave me a case of the winter wearies & I wouldn’t recommend was on Lucid Dreaming by Henry Lee Bolduk (uncertain of last name spelling – dumped that one) Take good care~ ~Blessings~ ~Kelli~ |

I can agree with what you say - the only person who can truly interpret a dream is the dreamer. I try to say that a lot but I must admit I keep going blue in the face because of it.
------------------ There is evidence to show that dreams can talk in a way that our waking minds understand. It just chooses not too. People have reported dreams which have included the literal interpretation of the dream. In one dream the dreamer heard a voice which stated that the dream meant "he was going to take a relaxed attitude to some problem that could blow up at any time". The symbols where very much consistent with this message. Dreams use quotes and questions when they get the opportunity. So why does the dream mind not interpret itself properly all the time? Dreams seem to be more of an internal process. Short term memory banks are switched off during dreams. We are not meant to remember them so why bother translating them. Try the following pages to help you understand dream symbolism and how to interpret dreams. http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2000/dreamessay.html DREAM DICTIONARY http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2...howtopost.html Some tips http://www.geocities.com/hairybobby2...ssayhowto.html How to use dreams symbols |
