Help me understand!

in my dreams, i have this "evil presence" that takes human form and reeks havoc in my dreams. Like just last night i had a dream i was out in town and there was a car accident. I went out in the road to help people and here comes a semi driving down the road. Since its my dream, i drempt that the semi stops and everything is fine...then someone hit the rewind button. My dream rewinds and this time the "evil presence" is driving the semi and he slams into the reckage trying to run me over...most of my dreams are like that. First, things are fine and just the way i want them, then "he" shows up and its like he takes over. Sometimes hes trying to kill me and other times hes just toying with me....what do you think this means?

I'm no professional at dream interpretation, but if you want some help other than from the mods, I may be of some help. I think that your dreams may be connected with some inner guilt, such as something that you know deep down was wrong. You may have repressed this feeling, causing an inner guilt, and this dream represents yourself being "punished" for this deed. Maybe if you were to go back and try to resolve these past conflicts. The evil presence may also have to do with symbolism. The "evil presence", as you put it, may symbolize someone you knew, or know now. This person you may feel is a threat to his/her self, and/or others as well. You may interpret this person as an enemy, and you are just showing that by putting this person in the "evil presence's" position. As for the reason of why this evil is driving a large truck is beyond me, and all I can figure is that this is the way your mind chose to show you.

After reading your dream I must say that the Devil can do nothing that God does not allow. As you said in your thoughts it is as if he wants to kill you ar is toying with you. That sound just like the devil. I would just look at my life if I were you and see if there are any things that allways seem to come up that may be distracting or things that try to come against me in any way and remember that it will not kill me. The Word of God says that He'll never put more on us than we can bare. You can handle it. I think yourdream could just be what seems to be going on in your life and how you feel about things often. Just remeber God is in control and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Wow, when you refer to "evil presence" and "he" it really makes me think of The Stand. In the book, everyone has dreams about "him" this "evil man" the "walking dude" who is essentially the devil or evil incarnate.

That's a great book that involves dreams.
