Really crazy daymare

So I was watching a video on youtube called "The Strangest Secret" which is this old VHS tape about what makes people successful in life... he talks about how people should have an ideal to strive for... so I was just lying on my bed thinking about how what my ideal would be and my body decided it was nap time :P

I dreamed that I was at a self development seminar, trying to take notes but I lost them. After it ended, I was frantically looking everywhere for them, as if they contained the magic pill that would make my life better... while searching though, I saw my friend there who I didn't expect to be there, so we decided to leave and go hang out.

We got into his car and started driving, and I noticed a black, 2 inch diameter circle of narrow black worms under my skin. Some of them were poking up through the skin and wiggling around, so I frantically pinched them and tried to pull them out. Some came out, but some broke in half and stayed in and starting moving around under the skin, it felt really gross, like my veins were wiggling around. I panicked and flung the worms in my hand to the floor, where they started multiplying and going in every direction. I told my friend to get out of the car so he didn't get them, and we both ran out.

By this time, they had started spreading all over my body, to both of my arms, my legs, and my groin area. We had stopped in a trailer park. I called 911 but had difficulty explaining where we were, and the phone kept going out. Eventually I got some help from a resident who was outside, and they were on the way. It took them a while, and I was just wandering around this trailer park pulling worms out of my skin waiting for them to show up. Eventually I heard sirens, but I also heard someone familiar singing... I looked up, and one of the guys living at the trailer park was one of my favorite punk rock singers! I had to make a tough decision, run for the medics or talk to this guy and find out if he was who I thought he was. (when I was awake earlier that day, I was reading about him and thinking 'Wow, it would be so cool to meet him') I decided the worms could wait a minute and I asked him if he was Jello Biafra. He said he was, and I was just speechless after that, and I told him how I was just thinking about meeting him today and what an odd coincidence it was. I showed him my worms and he was intrigued. The conversation didn't go anywhere, so I ran over to intercept the ambulance drivers.

Without a word asking me what the problem was, the medics took me inside one of the trailers, told me to lay down on the couch, and put an endoscopy camera down my throat. They kept saying "this is going to hurt" but I didn't care because I wanted the worms out, and it didn't hurt anyways. Then they started putting these rectangular boxes down my throat to collect samples. They were on the end of long sticks, and the boxes were the size of a stick of butter. They kept pulling up stuff from my lungs, that looked like bloody round balls. They took about 10 boxes full. Every time saying "this is going to hurt", me bracing for the pain, then nothing. After that, they stamped the word "pierced" in the back of my throat, and they told me it was like a warning to other medics about the way I coughed or gagged or something, I didn't understand.

Then they let me get up, and told me I was all better. I still had worms in my arms, and I asked "what about the worms?" and they had no idea what I was talking about. I guess I didn't clarify on the phone, or the 911 operator couldn't hear over the static, but they thought I had something entirely different and had done a totally unrelated procedure. I pulled a worm out of my arm and threw it onto the floor.... by this time they were over 3 feet long. It twisted around on the ground and the medics just poked it and played with it, and I couldn't get them to help me.

I ran across the street, into a yard of some Roman looking ruins, with broken statues and pillars and such. The sky was overcast by that point. A man came up behind me and tried to kill me with a sword, we argued, and then I woke up.


Anyways, the thing with the worms really scared me. I think I've dreamed it before but I can't remember it so vividly. I keep feeling tingling in my forearms now and I keep looking to see if there are worms. Everything else was so real, I was really convinced it was happening.

Can anyone shed some light on this? I'd really appreciate it.
