dream of journey and snake bites

I had this dream the night before a test in math but I'm not sure if it relates to it. Somehow, me and two of my friends and some other people were on this quest or journey in the desert to find something. There was also this guy from the future? -that's what he told me. All he did was lead us on this "journey" in the desert. There was like seven or eight of us. Two are my friends, a cousin, but other people I don't know. I'm familiar with them but I don't know them in real life. So we were all spread out walking in the desert and suddenly someone yelled out that there was a snake close to me. I freaked out and turned to see where it is. I heard once from a teacher that if you stay still, the snake won't harm you. So I tried to but when I saw that the snake was heading my direction, almost like how a water snake would. I started to turn around and run but it came faster at me, like it was targeting me only. Then it bit my right leg and left me there. The bite doesn't hurt but i thought it was going to be poisonous so i sucked out whatever that was. It looked like a big mosquito bite. Then I continued with the "journey". Everyone didn't say anything to me, like it never happened. But when we got to this big sand arch (probably our destination) i saw another snake, this time it was a rattlesnake. It was coming my way also. I warned my comrades that there was a snake around and everyone stood still. I somehow ended on the ground and instead of seeing the rattlesnake, it was a different snake, the color blended in with the dessert but I can still see it. It bit three times at different places again on my right leg. I didn't want to get bitten again so i turned around and rolled onto the other side. Then the snake just left. I'm for reals they were targeting only me! I didn't get pissed off and I didn't think of death. But i got really mad at my friends because they couldn't help me at all. well one tried to help but left to do something, and the other just seemed to ignore me or she didn't hear me. so I tended my wounds. The bite didn't hurt but again it looks like three mosquito bites plus the other bite. So now I had four bites and suddenly the scene vanished and i was at this house/apartment thing with this old couple. I seem to know them in my dream but i don't know them. I woke up only after the "future" guy came back and said something about a mission that we messed up on and that he's taking us to fix it.

There is always some tension present when facing an exam, especially maths!. The tension intrudes into your sleep, you tense up bodyparts and muscles.
Your dream was caused by your right leg going numb. You needed to stretch your legs and that is why your dream took you for a walk in the desert! Your dream was trying to explain to you how you felt in the sleep.

Then it bit my right leg and left me there. The bite doesn't hurt but i thought it was going to be poisonous so i sucked out whatever that was.

After you turned over and looked at your snake bites the numbness eased and the dream scenario changed.
