Newbie requesting interpretation

I have been having this reoccurring dream for years. Its as if I am in Egypt and come face to face with a gaint anaconda size cobra and its as if its a stare off for some time.

Any insight would be nice and helpful

Snakes are known for being evil and deceitful.
Egypt is sometimes a symbol for worldly things.

I agree with Sables meaning. I would also reccomend that you reference the bible. Egypt is a place of Bondage and slavery. The Children of isreal were in captivity for 400 years there until Moses lead them out. The Serpent is that no good Satan. You mentioned in particular an anaconda. Reference the bible in the concordance for Leviathan. read those scriptures and read the footnote. If you are in a stare off with this, you may be in a place where you are face to face with this type of spirit. Ask yourself why would you have a stare off with something. May may be watching to see who makes the first move??? You can make a choice to flee or to stay in that situation. The bible say that we are to Watch and Pray. The evil is alwyas out seeking whom he may devour.

I have done a little research, and I do mean little, in Egypt the cobra was a symbol of death and rebirth, any ideas on this note

There is a story in the bible where the snake was used to heal. Moses was instructed to put it on a pole and the people looked into its eyes and were healed Thats the only account where I know it was a good thing.There of course a host of references in the bible were snakes are not a good thing. Forgive me for mentioning anaconda. I thought that I saw that in your dream. I think you need to go with what you felt while you were staring at it. Were you concerned? Did you feel a not so good feeling? Go with your inner man feeling. I can see it being death definietly but in what context only you would know. Are you from Egypt? some things come in the spirit byway of your culture. I line everythng up with the Word of God for interpretation and pull from the spirit in meaning that way.

I am not from rgypt but my bloodline is from that area. I know quite a bit about Egypt and that region.

While lloking face to face with the snake the intial feeling was scared as with most things, but soon after the fear was soon.

By nature I am not the type of person that runs from anything. Life problems I just face and handle it the best way I can

I see in that case. Your dream may indicate just who you are as you stated above how you dont back down and handle things the best way you can. Life can be ugly sometimes and really try us in many areas. I would suggest to take it further and begin to Prophesy to your self about your situation and tell it what to do. There is life and death within the power of the toungue. I am sure you will continue to handle lifes situations but begin prophesying to your situations in your prayer/mediatiation time and watch reults produce itself. Talk to to the Lord about these things. He allows us to see things for a reason. Go ahead and walk out on the water.
