Saving myself as children??

I have been searching high and low for some analysis on a dream i had last night, the exact details have faded throughout the day but the basics are as follows;
I was at a castle which i didn't recognise, it was in ruins. A beautiful day and i like look across the grass and see myself, aged only about 6, i felt so happy to see her/me, then playing with her was myself aged about 8 or 9. I tryed to explain who i was but they didn't understand, naturally as they are children. I feel so safe, and i tell them that everything is going to be ok.. this is where things get weird, we are being bombed, i feel as if its the blitz, its just a bit of knowledge that i had within the dream, i am desperately trying to find safety for myself,and especially my younger selves, we eventually find safety in a small pit of hay and i sit there cuddling the younger me's until we are safe.The bombing stops and everyone begins to cheer. I didn't know any of the others around!
Just to let you know, i had no trauma in my childhood which would have triggered this strange dream, andi have never had a dream like it before, i feel it is significant, and i am intrigued as to any ideas you all might have.

You were young means you will make a mistake and will have a sorrow and another one as well so two sorrows.
