Default The Cat and the Rat

This dream is now a few days old, so I have probably forgotten something. But here it goes:

I am in a house with all sorts of people, but I am not interacting with anyone in particular. Instead I am lying on the floor, holding onto a leash that is tied to a CAT! And I remember thinking, this is crazy. And I promise you in the dream, at the exact moment I am thinking that thought, the cat looks at me and has almost a completely human expression, as if to say, "you know this is ridiculous, let me go."

So the leash is actually under a chair in which a man is sitting, and the cat is near this alcove-like area. So imagine a woman on the floor, holding a cat on a leash while some man is sitting there. Just silly.

So this dark, shiny charcoal gray rat starts running through the house and dashes into this alcove area. The cat gets away and I see it running around after the mouse (in my dream it's almost like this movie effect of sped up motion) until it very dramatically grasps the rat in its paws, lifts it up and opens its mouth to bite the rat.

Then the rat gets away and runs at me! It jumps on my leg and like the cat, it had this very human expression on its face. It's there for just a second and dashes off to get away from the cat.

(It should be noted in real life I am not fond of cats, and in real life I am terrified of rats.)

Hi Lola,
In sleep you make the movements the dream suggests. In this dream you follow the movements of the cat and rat by turning your head in the direction they run.
Your dreams suggest that you need to move your head and neck often while you sleep. You need a new pillow! In your other posts you are looking up and following an aeroplane, watching a fox up the wall and on top of a traffic light!
When you wake up from one of these dreams check your sleeping position and how your neck and head feels.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
A cat means a thief person or a kind woman.

A rat means a corrupt person.

If a cat bit means he will cause her a money loss.

The cat is under your control or should be.

In around two months you will undertsand more.

Good luck.

Thank you both. I usually sleep without a pillow, because, yes, the ones I have are in fact too high for me and are just there for decorative purposes. I've been talking about getting new pillows forever. But again, I usually throw them off the bed and sleep without them. Don't recall but maybe I had one of the pillows on the bed those nights and was in a bad position. But oddly enough I mentioned this dream to a friend the other day who said he been at somebody's house sitting in a chair in an alcove, but he was there for a party and there were no real cat and mouse, perhaps symbolic ones.
