Necklace, charm, bleeding ear.

It seems like i've had this dream before...

I dont wake up some were, im just in this marble hall way with pliers and coliums, and fancy rugs. i look to the floor and find a necklace, golden. i pic it up and see a blond, awkwardly angeletic looking boy. he says something in an echoy voice about a river, then is gone. i ignore it, and walk up stairs that randomly appeared. another hallway lined with doors leads me to a bed room. I look to the side of the fancy room to find a small charm on a desk. its small and silver and is an oval with small ruffles along the edge. i put it in my pocket and see a figure, much taller then me, pure black and telling me not to touch anything and how the charm is the key to something. then is gone. i walk down the stairs and am in a foresty area, i find the river. its dirty, and tinted yellow. I drop the necklace into it, it clears up but i pop hits my ear, fallowed by a sharp pain. I look to the ground and see droplets of blood from my ear, blood pores from it. but the blond boy is back and he is standing on the river telling me to throw charm in. but as i raise my hand, i see blood on his hand. My blood. i hesitate, but throw in the charm and the water is completely clear. last thing i see, is a long shot of the dark figure standing be hind me.


what the hell does any of that mean?

A river means a man if clear water means a pious person if dark or dirty water means a bad moral dirty man if yellow means an illness for him.

Dear Tailschan, It most likely goes without saying that in a dream or in real life picking up objects that do not belong to you fringes on an attitude commonly known as insanity. The United States has quite a number of correctional institutions that house people with the same attitutes. However dreams are not meant to be intrepted literally, so I will dismiss the first part of my statement and search for a deeper meaning. On a subconscious level what I am seeing in your dream is that on your near event horizon you will most likely be presented with an opportunity for a payng job or an opportunity to apply yourself to a public service position. I kind of think it will be public service. There will be some very detailed instructions you will need to follow. If you follow these instructions you will be given you will get rewarded with public recognition and perhaps more. However if you get inpatient and attempt to get the rewards before you are entitled to them your reputation as a person will be severly damaged. I am well aware there are many folks who do not have much concern for their reputations anyway. However I can assure you, your self esteem is very much dependent on what others think of you.

Your dream means simply that you had earache in your sleep.
When something like that happens in sleep, the subconscious creats a fantastic dream to take your mind off the pain. The aim of the dream is to keep you from waking up for as long as possible. The constantly changing scenario, the colours and figures are there to keep you interested and entertained. It is preservation of sleep. Very often the pain or discomfort resolves itself during the dream and you wake up with only the memory of the dream. No sign of pain.
