Default Fox on the Wall and Traffic Light

Okay, not sure how to explain this. But two nights ago, I heard a sound in my bedroom that woke me up. I did not have the windows open, and I have no idea where this sound came from, but it was loud enough to wake me up. Well, at least I think I woke up. It was a very loud hiss coming from the wall, but high up.

In my dream, I hear the hiss again. And like when I thought I was awake, I look around the room and out the window trying to figure out the source of this sound. Finally I look up and there is a fox on my wall. Like flat against it and somehow able to stay attached to the wall. It was almost completely still except its mouth was hissing at me. I remember being surprised, but not exactly frightened. It never moved.

Someone came to get me, and then we're driving down a street, and as we're approaching the traffic light, I see something is behind the metal covering of the traffic light. I ask the person who is driving me if he sees it, and he says no. As we pass the light, I look behind and this fox moves as if to show just me, that there was indeed a fox there.

What on earth is that about?

Hi,

Fox means a deceiver trickery man or a liar relative woman.
If dreamt was fighting a fox means the relative will argue with him.
If dreamt was looking for a fox means he will be afraid of a fairy or hidden people.
If dreamt was playing with a fox means a woman likes him but her love is weak.
If dreamt was combing a fox hair means he will play trick and will deceive someone.
If dreamt a fox was flattering with him means a stranger will deceive him.
If dreamt about a fox means he will receive some money.
If dreamt he drank fox milk means his illness will cure or will have a happiness or will rescue from a sorrow or a jail.
Some interpreters say : drinking fox milk means he will have a fear.
If dreamt a fox came into his house and stayed means he will marry and his wife loves him.
If dreamt a fox ran away from him means his debtor will run away from him.

Hi Lola,

The only idea that's coming to me on this one is that the fox is about surveillance cameras, which are often located high on a wall or on traffic lights. Do you have anything going on emotionally concerning surveillance, like do you feel there's too much of it nowadays? Many people do, I know. I also got to thinking after I first read this yesterday about Fox Mulder in "The X-Files", and I guess that pretty much fits too, like worried about FBI surveillance. Of course the X-Files deals with supernatural events. I actually bought the series on DVD last year and watched it, as I had not seen it when it was shown on TV. Kind of interesting. But I think people who get caught up in X-Files stuff tend toward a bit of paranoia, because they're always feeling that some "they" are watching. Does that connect for you?

Traditionally, foxes symbolize cunning, hypocrisy, craftiness, guile.

Sometimes, a personal symbolic meaning for a fox is someone who is being fake, because it's an interlingual pun for me based on the French word "faux." But I doubt that applies for most people.

All best!

Thanks all for your responses. This is a confusing one. A deceitful person, I just don't know who that is--yet. IrisRaven, I've not been fretting about being watched or traffic cameras or FBI or the like. None of this connected for me, unless I'm the fox. My friends have told me numerous times I should be an investigator because I leave no stone unturned, but I don't have anybody "under surveillance" right now It's just the weirdest dream.

Default Same FOX dream!

Oh Wow...I had the EXACT same dream w/ the Fox the other night. Maybe 4-5 nights ago. Exactly the SAME??!? I was gng to post it..but I figured it was to strange to get any real feedback.

It was of a BRIGHT RED-ORANGY FOX....& it was standing on the Wall...w/ its face & body on a horizonal level. I remember looking at it like,"How are you able to gravitate like that??"

I know there is more to this dream...but I cant remember what else happened b/c when I have dreams like this there usually Jumbled up with other nonsense dreams.....But after I woke up All I could focus on was that FOX!!

What r the chances of 2 people having a Non-sense dream like this?>>>ALthough, Im sure it does mean something important for this to happen.

Hi,

Perhaps The " Wall" can help.

If one dreamt he was sitting on a wall and it was stable ,means his situation in the life is good and stable.***
If dreamt he was demolishing an old wall , means he will receive some money but demolishing a new wall means a sorrow and disaster.
If dreamt he was standing on a wall means his situation will change.****
If dreamt he was hanging from a wall means he will be distressed.*****
If dreamt he took out a wall from its place means he will help a man to have some dignity and rank.
If dreamt he fell down and ruined a wall means he will ruin a man's business and will damage him.
If dreamt he made straight an inclined wall or repaired a ruined wall means his affairs will arrange.
If dreamt the city wall ruined means the city mayor will die.
If dreamt he was building a wall with his hands : 1- if the wall was of sun dried bricks means he will receive some money and belief.
If it was of bricks and chalk means he is selfish and will do a bad deed.
If it was of stone and lime means he become pagan.

Default Fox on the wall

Dear LolaO and hazelflame: seeings that two of you had the same dream image of a fox on the wall really got me curious. I would agree that a fox is generally the symbol of a trickster, culturally speaking. However not everyones subconscious connects to universal cultural symbols. So I plugged the phrase which country has a fox symbol into my msn search engine and came across a website called Tattoo Designs & Tattoos Meanings, Celebrity Tattoos, Tattoo Museum, tattoo photo galleries and got an expanded definition. In the cases of both your dreams it would appear to me you are both about to gain empowerment. Now let me quote what the website said about the fox symbol: Shapeshifter, cunning, trickster, magic and luck, both good and bad. Knowing that both of you folks haqve positive outlooks in life and outlooks and mindsets always set the stages for dreams I would suggest you will both come into some magic empowerment ight out of nowhere. This prospect sounds very exciting so please keep us posted. Best regards.

Default Fox on a wall

Dear Lola and Hazelflame. The Dreamcentral website involuntarily changed the website name I had posted. I've noticed this website has a habit of altering websites I have posted in the past. So lets try it again without the www. headliner to see if we can get it out without alteration. vannishingtatoo. Best regards

Default The Chesire Cat !

I immediately thought of this Alice in Wonderland charactor when you mentioned the fox suspended on the wall and traffic light.
The fact that it appears in your private room, and then out in public,to me signifies that he is always watching you,and is with you,no matter where you go !
Now....the next step is to figure-out what does the fox signify in your own particular, private life ? A fox is a cunning, smart, fast, and very beautiful animal. To me ,personally,it dosen't represent anything bad or dangerous.
Hissing is just it's way of getting your attention,it dosen't represent any distain from it.
