So, I am excited to have found such a forum. I've had this recurrent dream where 2 planes crashing into each other is the constant theme. The other details vary, but I'm usually surrounded by people from my past and often, the location of the plane crash is too far away for me to help. However, the last 2-3 times, the location seems to be moving in and I am able to help. I'd say I've had this dream ~5 times.
In the beginning, I was in an unfamiliar town/city, waiting for the bus and I looked up and saw two planes that looked like they might collide. They did and I just felt an overwhelming feeling of sadness and helplessness. In the next dream parts of the plane were in the sky on fire and heading down near me. The next dream after that, I was on what seemed like a dreamy version of my high school football field. There was some fundraising event and the plane split in two (there were survivors) and everyone was running all around- some towards the accident and some away from the flying debris. Strangely enough I remember seeing Oprah bruised and disoriented, and some other important figure (like a governor or president) who died. An announcement was made that he did not survive the crash and everyone began weeping. I, along with the person (can’t remember who) I was with ran to help. This was the first time I remember being able to do something. Then, last night I had a dream that again, I was on a huge field and when I looked up in the sky, two planes were connected/merged? Together, as they had already crashed into each other, but they were not on fire. We all just stood watching (much like in the first dream) but this time we could see that it was headed for the field we were in. People started screaming and running. Once it hit the ground, debris were traveling at warp speed and I remember trying to predict where it would go, so I knew which way to run, as to not get injured. Again, I was able to help, but this time, I was frantic, like everyone else. I found 2 men in suits that seemed calm and approached them asking how we might all be able to help. We began carrying people to a safer location and attempting to dress their wounds. The rest of the dream got a little weird and seems unrelated so I won’t go into the details. I wish I could remember when this all started, but I can’t. I can tell you more about me and my life but I feel like I’ve babbled on enough. I’d be happy to answer any questions and thank you all in advance for your help. |

Hi,
Planes are companies r businesses as big as the seats of the planes. If crashed means the companies will bankrupt. The debris means pieces of money or share holders. Perhaps your work is kinda linked to help the employess who has been unemployed. Good luck.

Dear writer: I think the planes crashing are symbols and not real events. Off the wall, and most likely a misintrepetation, my inclination would be the planes are symbolic of your friendships and relationships on an emotional, intellectual and spiritual level. In other words we all have to contribute to others welfare on intellectual, emotional, and spiritual levels and frequently to our best friends on a material level. All too frequently the friends we are supporting get an attitude that these levels of support will flow like the Niagra River over the falls in New York. The result being that the giver just burns out. To me the planes crashing are a sign that you are somewhat burning out in the interpersonal relationship area. The fact the proximity of the crashes appears to be getting nearer suggests somewhat that your subconcious recognizes you need to do something , but on a conscious level you d'ont understand the mechanics of expanding your base of friendships. I would encourage you to keep writing, because I think there are some real issues at stake.
