Ringworm, yuck

I don't know how I noticed this in my dream, but at some point I looked down and seen this extremely large circle on my left shoulder/collar bone area! The size of the circle was about 5"x5". I have never had ringworm in real life, but in my dream I was at work and I was showing people. Everyone told me it was ringworm. I was sooo extremely disguisted by this finding, and remember saying that I wanted to "cut the ringworm out of my skin"! I was told to get some kind of cream out of the firstaid kit by my manager, and some aspirin. When he returned to his desk, he was looking at the ringworm and asked if my boyfriend has been in my "peepers" (Pretty much asking if we have had sex lately), because somehow the ringworm could have come from him (if we did have sex). I did the day before in real life, but I just gave him this weird look because he's my manager and the question was inappropriate for him to ask in his position. I told him no, and that it must have come from my cat because the area of the ringworm is usually where I'll hold her. Then I went back to my working area and continued to show people and ask if they thought it was ringworm. The outer dark ring of it started to fade slowly in the dream, then I woke up.

I briefly seen a definition of ringworm about three minutes ago and it hints towards an illness. Lately, I have not been feeling well and have been pondering the thought of checking into a hospital to see whats up. Something just doesn't seem right. Could this dream occuring be taken as a hint??

Anyways, hope someone can help me understand this dream! Thanks in advance!!

Your dream indicates that you worry about your PEEPERS You worry about catching STD. However looking at your other dreams indicates that you're a bit of a hypocondriac.
You are also concerned about getting pregnant, but I don't know whether you for or against?

Sometimes when you lie in the same position for too long it becames uncomfortable or painful. In this dream you had to move your head and neck and that is why your subconscious painted this giant ringworm on your chest!
However the dream has to have a convincing, or deceiving storyline, so your subconscious used your concern about STD.

Hi Oz,

Ringworm is a fungus infection, and I remember my kids having it one summer, because the manmade lake at the sub base was polluted with the fungus. The actual rings are small, like dime or nickel size... maybe the 5X5 refers to a nickel, five cents. I would consider this as a health dream pointing to some type of fungus infection, though not necessarily ringworm. Candidiasis or thrush, "jock itch", the fungus under toe nails... it could be anything that's caused by a fungus.

Topically, Tea Tree Oil works really well against fungus. When my last dog, Shaman, had his neutering surgery, I dreamed that he had all this smoky black stuff around his surgical area, and saw myself washing it with a pink washcloth, and heard the word "fungus." I looked up fungus infections in _Prescription for Nutritional Healing_ by James and Phyllis Balch, and they suggested Tea Tree Oil, and I went and bought both some tea tree soap, and the oil, and was armed and ready the next day when indeed the fungus did show up as smoky and black! It was cleared up in twenty four hours, and I continued washing with it for a couple of days, and it never came back. The Tea Tree Oil was cheaper than a visit to the vet!

As for candidiasis and thrush, I remember they suggested NOT eating sugar at all until it clears up, and then eating it sparingly afterwards, as sugar feeds fungal infections. I'm sure there's more info in the book or out on the internet, or you could see a doctor if you're so inclined. I don't recommend aspirin though... it ate out my stomach lining a few years ago! I can't take any N-Saids anymore, as I had bleeding ulcers from it. But the questions your manager (sorry, I said doctor but am editing!) asked might point to candidiasis, and you could get cream for that if it itches. I think manager might be a spirit guide in disguise.

I don't think you need a hospital though. Maybe just get checked by a doctor for a fungal infection of some kind.

A worm any kind of worm means a weak person or a kid.

If it was under your skin means he/she will use your money also it is a secret of you.
it can also mean a pregnancy on the way.

Thanks to the responses! I just want to note that I know what ringworm looks like, but in my dream, it was HUGE!! And I am not against pregnancy, I would love to have children, but I have a condtion called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) that makes this possibility hard - And I mentioned that before this dream, I've been having some unresolved issues with my body, perhaps from the PCOS, I really don't know and haven't been feeling well. I'm not worried about catching STDS at this point (never give much thought into it) because I've been with my partner for over three years now - I do practice safe sex, so I don't know what this dream is trying to tell me, if anything ... Funny how dreams can "talk" to us!

Anyways, thanks again to everyone that responded! I'll have to keep an eye out for any alarming health problems ... Hope nothing is wrong!
