Dreams of electric wires

I have looked this up and tho similar to my own dream It is never really exact. I notice these dreams are kind of common..

Anyway... in my dreams I fly and when i do I am usually looking for someone or something. Or in recent case trying to assure someone of my loyalty in that I would never do anything to harm them for any reason.

I tried to go after this person trying to make sure he knows I like him and would never actually hurt him in anyway. There was a another person there talkin to him telling him otherwise and was trying to make it seem as tho I am a bad person when I know I am not. For some reason tho he had believed this person. I tried to plead my case and tried to prove to him what he was told by this other was a lie and was very far stretching the truth. So I was hanging around him and tried to do nice things for him to prove that I am not what he thinks I am.. Some how he gets mad at me for trying to do something nice for him and insisting of me that I not do that. When I say I want to and try to anyway he gets kind of angry at me and he leaves. I try to go after him but he is quite fast so it is hard for me to catch up to him. Of course I am chasing him through flight cause he as well went that way. I tried to fallow him but then the electrical wires started getting in the way. I dodge them quite easily but they always scare me cause i know what happens when i touch them. I get electrocuted and it kind of hurts. But the further I go the more power lines there are trying to stop me from going were I want to go. I stumble over a couple of them. When I get to my destination I found who I was looking for but for some reason his presence actually seemed quite faint.. even though I felt he was there as well as saw him it was like only part of him was there with me.. anyway he seemed as if he was in a bit of trouble.. I came to realize a bit later that there are beings that are trying to keep him away??? or something.. they do not like him for some reason. They are ok with me but not with him.. or with me liking him or vice versa. He always looked at me in a certain way that made me wonder a bit.. I tried to take him and tried to help him get away. and even tho He was with one other that was in his same predicament my only real concern was him. I when i tried to get him back to were i know it was safe again I am confronted by power lines.. there were power lines all around us and they all seemed to be only concerned about me.. in this dream I realized that these power lines have some sort of presents and for some reason I had a slight feeling as though I knew what they were.. even tho I do not.. I figure something inside me does but I have not figured it out yet.. Anyway with much struggle I get us passed these lines on our way though what I figured was about the last of them something else pops up.. some kind of creature that I never seen. I would label it as a she but when i think about it... it didn't really have any specification on either he or she. This being was really nice to me but ONLY to me. She was quite mean to him and tried to go after him. When I stepped in the way she turned to me and smiled and her mean-ness faded and she said in a calm voice "why? he is a myth" She told me. I was kind of set back by this as it was a surprising thing she had told me. She had something in her hands btw that was shocking and had the same shocking ability as the power lines but she perhaps had more control?? or was a bit stronger?? She continued to go after him he tried to get away but his power was quite low and I was worried cause he should be stonger .. I realize that there is something wrong. So I rush to his aid and pushed her away.. her anger towards him was scary and made her scary.. She yelled at him and told him that he was a myth in an angry voice and would look at me in a worried way and said to me almost like she was going to cry (well to me it seemed that way) and said why do you wanna do this? he is a myth. She started after him again with that shock thing of hers.. I tried to get her away again getting shocked a couple times my self .. possibly by my running in to it rather than her touching me with it.. Then when I tried to move him away I become caught in electric wires.. LOTS of them I got a way from a couple but was restrained by a bigger one and a couple others holding me back .. the creature again said "Hes a Myth" and they both vanished the sky turned to daylight (oh yeah it was dark out before) and there were clouds in the sky but I was still held back.. I struggled to break free of the power lines and yelled at them and then towards the sky and said.. LEAVE ME ALONE! WHY WONT YOU LEAVE ME ALONE! The power line that had been holding me back disappeared but I felt that others were still there.. but I looked up in the sky which even tho it was daylight and there were white clouds strait up were stars and smaller lines as well as something else that i knew was there and I yelled again.. THESE ARE MY DREAMS!! WHY ARE YOU ALWAYS INTERFERING WITH MY DREAMS! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO WHAT EVER I WANT IN MY DREAMS! (I was still in the air just hovering there) I was extremely angered about it and that's when i woke up.

This dream was just recent. Power lines are always interfering.. and always the further I go the more power lines there are and me trying to untangle my self from them and they usually always shock me. they constantly restrain me from going to far in any direction especially up.. and really for me it isn't all that high up. maybe only a couple hundred meters up at max If that actually. I typically have most if not all my senses open in my dreams.. even taste and smell btw. So my dreams are usually quite vivid.

Flying means feeling a sense of freedom but, if your flying with black wings it means bitter disappointments. It sounds like you interpreted the first part of your dream in terms of "looking for someone or something" that is a major clue to what your dream is about. It also sounds like you feel like a guardian of some sort or you feel the need to protect someone or your looking for someone to protect. Maybe you are searching for your mate? Its like you want to protect someone.

You feel like someone is trying to steal your honor? You seem vulnerable.

Despite your desperate attempts, you feel like a failure. Maybe in real life you feel like your underestimated most of the time despite what you try to prove to people. My suggestion is you shouldn't care about what people think or say and be yourself.

He represents something important to you, your dignity, your honor, your self respect, your self esteem. Hes leaving you and your chasing him so you can protect him. Your subconscious is trying to tell you that you need to protect yourself from other people, stop being vulnerable and letting people take advantage of you. Stand up for yourself and take a stand to whatever you fear.

The electric wires are the problems standing in your way, something that seems nice but really isn't. Like it sounds nice and looks nice but, its so not nice. Someone is trying to take advantage of you. A close friend or relative.

your subconscious is telling you that "He" is not really a "He" but, it's apart of you. It's your self esteem.

Next time you have this dream and see her, ask her whats wrong with you and she will tell you the reason why your having the dreams. "she" is your subconscious creating an image to help communicate with you the way you see communication. The wires are problems and they ill continue to tangle you until you confront these problems.

Dreams like yours are responses to some chronic pains you suffer in your sleep
My guess is that you suffer from headaches or migrain in your sleep. You need the sleep, but constantly need to be at a very high level of consciousness so you can wake up very quickly in case your condition worsens.
It is a sort of lucid dreaming without that is controlled by the subconscious instead of the brain of the sleeper. The electric wires and irritating creatures are there to keep you on your toes, ready to wake up any second.

Yet another wall o' text

I never have wings when I fly. I fly by a sort of energy sort of its hard to explain. I under stand some of which you are saying tho. My mind is some what unstable in my awake state due to some unfortunate events.. so I use an image of a character to try and stable it again.. I use to rely heavily on this. Now its some what less but I still tend to do it.

However I do feel as though my spiritual reputation is being tossed in a blender (if you can understand what i just said Xp) and I feel as though there is nothing much I can do about it.

Perhaps something is telling me there is things i can do then if its telling me to protect my self.. problem is.. I dunno how to accomplish this.. I feel near helpless..

I have felt as though I needed to protect people..I also seem to squabble about trying to protect my own self being and tend to worry about this a lot. Perhaps I should not worry so much?

I dunno if my mind is trying to place images to make images represent anything to keep me on my toes.. especially since I tend to wait for it to show me and not the other way around.. its like.. (this is hard to explain) I don't assume what something I do not know will look like.. nor will I try to bring images to mind to place them.. I wait for the image to tell me what it looks like.. or what it is.. kind of like.. I believe in god I believe he can heal but I wont believe i have been healed or he had healed me until I have in fact been healed.. I wait to see first and do not assume it will.. this could be why somethings in my dreams sometimes take a while to render or make them selves visible..

The creature I seen in my dream I think i had to kind of squint to see its shape .. and it wasn't anything scary to me it appeared as an awkward purple and black cat thing. I felt no scene of urgency from it.. even as it attacked that whom i was trying to protect It would not hurt me only him.

a lot of my dreams are mixed with bunches of stuff.. they don't always have a somewhat story line to it.. lately tho they have been. Some dreams I feel strongly that they are nothing to worry about.. but some I have an urge to find out about. O.o

I would also like to know if someone would like to explain what tornadoes mean in dreams.. the kind that does not hurt me or for some reason I am stronger than they are so they have little effect on me but ppl around me are vulnerable.. some times if I am there the tornado just dances around the place I am in. Scaring others there.. but I am un effected from it. Yet i feel what sad for them even tho if I am near them the tornado will not get them. Any dream I have with tornadoes.. I myself am never effected once in a great while I am effected a little bit but nothing real serious. .. and I have a very small sense of urgency.. until it gets close like i stated. I am only ever concerned about others...

Again this might play on the protecting thing.. but it is kind of strange... I rarely feel i NEED to protect people I just worry sometimes and try to help and find a solution... perhaps it is the wish of mine to be able to help them? Or that I wish there was something more that I can do other than what I really can do.. ?

This dream as a whole is very confusing, I suspect because of the way you've written it, at least in part. You need to learn to break things up into paragraphs better!

As for power lines, I'd think they symbolize some sort of system that is affecting your ideas and beliefs... it could be religion, but could also be government, school, family, etc. What group seems to have power or control, or try to, over your ideas and beliefs? Because that group is what you are fighting with in your dreams, and they have had power over you, but you are trying to release yourself from that power. Only you can say what the group is.

I just had two Jehovah's Witnesses at my door, trying to evangelize. I told them politely I have my own religion, and the dog wouldn't stop barking, so I couldn't listen anyway. They left, though they tried to give me pamphlets first, but I refused to open the door. I don't need to fight with them, because I know my own mind, my own beliefs. When you KNOW yourself and your own mind, the fight dreams with power lines will stop. Until then, you'll fight it out in dreamtime. They only have the power you give them through not yet knowing yourself and what you believe rightly. I know I don't literally believe that only 144,000 people will be "saved", which is what Jehovah's Witnesses believe, despite having far more members than that. Kind of strange, really. It's the kind of thinking that literalism leads to.

You might also consider the difference between the words fallow and follow, as you mix them up, seemingly. What some would call a Freudian slip. What feels fallow (barren, unproductive) in your life as related to following someone else's teachings or beliefs?

It's all a matter of thinking it through, and then letting it go! Can you? I hope so!!!

Hi Jiji,

I'd consider the tornado as a possible "emotional storm" that you're feeling, or acting out on. It doesn't affect you because you have a still place in the center, the place where I say my "objective observer" resides... he tends to watch out over me, all logical and uninvolved, and just observe when I'm storming, whether in anger or in sorrow. And ultimately, that is what brings me back to a quiet place that allows the sun, and a sunnier dispostion, to reign again. It would be nice if I'd ever had any men in my life who knew that, rather than fighting back! But he's my own inner male side, I think, and he does keep the storms from doing any serious damage. You can learn to communicate with him, and his abilties at reason and logic will help you through emotional patches where you feel out of control.

I am not very good with writing in general. It is worse when I try to explain dreams. Its the same when i try to draw from dreams. I can draw decently well but for some reason when I try to bring an image from my dream.. even tho I can see it clearly it is extremely hard for me to put it on paper and the artwork ends up being less than satisfactory. A reason for my mix up in words could possibly be due to spell check. lol I don't Spell very well so I rely on spell check. I also tend to spell the way I say it >.< habit.

The power lines I can see what you are talking about and it very much relates sort of to what I have been going through for the last few years. I would say probably in a sense that I am fighting to keep my own mind most in control.

Dear writer: I can see you got a lot of resposes to your dream. I like the energies in your dreams and visions. You may have a bit of a problem with english in written communications. However I feel the methodology you are using to build both logic and historical constructs show a lot of talent in presenting narrative form. I myself have a real problem with both typing and editorial skills. Most logically the more we keep after it, the better we will get. I'm seeing your dream more like the construct of a game such as monoply. In order to purchase the banks assets you have to own so many stores etc. In other words its a process. However as both you and your readers may intrepret the power lines as hazards, from what I can see you are gaining eneergy from passing through the energy fields of the powerlines. In other words instead of owning so many stores to achieve your objective, the bank, treasure or whatever,you will need to adsorb a certain magnetude of electromagnetic energy to acquire the strengths you will need to attain your objective. I could miss the fact that as you were entering the final space of the energy field the person you were following began to fade. My intrepretation of that segment is your evolution is progressing light years faster than the person you are following. My intuition tells me altho the energy fields was potrayed to you as powerlines, the energies actually are radiowave energies. We are rapidly moving from 3rd demensional light/radio energies to 5th demensional light/radio energies as world citizens, a solar system and as a galaxy. In other words, our dna strands are in the process of changing from 2 strands to 13 strands. Needless to say because of genetics and brain orientations (that is right hemisphere artistic,left hemisphere logic) certain people will achieve this evolutionary change more easily and far more rapidly than others. I find it so very remarkable that a person without knowing the celestial changes going on very accurately comes up with a dream that entails exactly the mechanics of how such a change will be bought about in dream form. So what does it all mean? In as few a words as possible to are going to be gaining an extrodinarily high level of psychic development. Abilities like p-k pscho kinesis ( the ability to create events with your thoughts,) clairvoyance (the ability to see into the future) and many more. that situation will create problems also, because you will discover that being in the company of those who do not will seem like a boor to you. Once as I began to awake some time ago, I began to hear things and something said she has very clairvoyance. I did not know what that meant. I had looked it up but nothing i found had a clear definition of what it was exactly.. I tend to hear/see things at best between sleep and awake. I dunno. ..

Hi Jiji,

Clairvoyance literally means "clear vision"... it might be precognitive, and seeing in the future, but it might also be telepathic, and seeing something in the now. It is about seeing, not hearing.

Clairaudience means "clear hearing", and that is the voices you hear.

Clairsentience means "clear knowing", and that is behind what we term "intutition" as well, where there are no words and pictures, but we just "know." My guide Leslie describes clairsentience as coming to us rather like a computer download, and often we don't even know we've received that sort of knowledge until we actually need it. It is actually the main way of communicating between guides and angels and Spirit, and something my guides keep pushing me to learn and trust more. I trust clairvoyance and clairaudience more, because there are words and pictures! Clairsentience makes me a little nervous still, but I keep working on it! Empathy is a psychic ability in which we can quite literally *feel* what another person is feeling, as if we were them, even if we have never experienced what they're experiencing. It's different in that way from sympathy, which is more about being able to relate to someone's feelings because we've experienced something similar for ourselves, like say a death in the family, or living with substance abusers.

I'd love to know if there are standard terms for feeling touch (an unseen hand on my shoulder), smelling psychically (a strong odor of alcohol when my son calls when he's inebriated), tasting psychically (getting a strong taste of cloves whenever I remember a dream I had of a wedding with spices put in the bride and groom's hair)? Anyone know? I've experienced all of those on several occasions, awake, not just in dreams, but have no terms to apply to them. I'm sure there must be some though.
