white flowers in a dream mean?

hi

i just had a dream about that i was buying a whole bunch of white lillies and white mum flowers for a family reunion.

the place where i bought them at in my dream it looked like a park accept it had a green grass hill and water on the others side like a stream next to the hill.

i bought $84.00 worth of flowers.

why was i buying flowers for a family reunion?

I would need to know more. Do you have any personal association with these flowers in waking life? Anything new happening in your family? How did you feel in the dream?

It seems to stand out that the flowers are white like purity or rebirth.

If this were my dream, and I don't always use that format here, but in this case it may be nothing like what it really means for you, so... If this were MY dream, I would think this particular family reunion was actually a funeral. The setting sounds so much like so many cemeteries here in New England, all grassy, often near water, and white lilies especially are often used for funerals and Easter, so a sense of resurrection and rebirth is there.

Plus for me, numbers add up numerologically to Major Arcana cards in the Tarot, and 8+4=12. XII is The Hanged Man, which is a symbol for inversion, and the inversion of a family reunion could be a funeral. The Hanged Man hangs upside down by one foot, what they call being "baffled", which has a dual meaning... it's about turning things upside down for a different perspective, especially if confused.

The last funeral I went to had a wake afterwards where all the food was white, everything! A potato salad with no celery even, only white onions and mayonnaise, some chicken breast sliced thin, a white cake with white frosting. Everything there was white, in contrast to all the black worn by most of the mourners. It's the feeling this dream gives me, and I hope no one is dying in your family, but it does seem in my older years that more family reunions occur at funerals and wakes than elsewhere. It's kind of sad, really.
