Is bad luck on my way??

This was just one part of a long dream, most of which I cannot remember, so here goes ...

I was inside my place of employment working in the UPS area when I seen a fellow coworker of mine walking towards me. He pulled out a black umbrella and opened it! I have no idea why he did this, there was no rain - We were INSIDE! He walked around, almost in a marching matter, holding the umbrella up to cover him (as if it was raining). He did this for several minutes, then started to walk away from me. The managers from the first shift were heading towards the doors to leave, so my coworker hurried to put the umbrella away - I'm guessing he thought if they seen him with it opened, he would get into trouble.

Strangeeeee! I always heard it was bad luck to have an umbrella opened inside! Not sure what this dream could mean, if anything ... So thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

No it is not a bad omen it means some more dignity and esteem, perhaps a promotion.

Here are different scenarios for umbrella none is bad:

If one dreamt someone took an umbrella over his head means he will receive some dignity and rank.
If dreamt had the king's umbrella in his hand means will be dear by the king/boss.
Umbrella may also mean : 1- Kingdom 2- reputation 3- Dignity 4- Directorship 5- honor 6- sitting with honored people.

Dear writer: There is obviously some connection between you and the co-worker you saw in your dream either on a conscious or subconscious level. In intrepreting dreams I woulkd dismiss accepted symbols and supersticians and view things more on an interactive level. Any umbrellas is a protection device and thats all it is. It would suggest either that your coworker is concealing pertinent information from you about himself or he feels somewhat of a need to protect himself from you. I would suspect it is an act of concealment. Altho its most likely uncomfortable to discuss there is most likely some physical attraction going on between the two of you. The best way to deal with a situation like this is simply to take some time out and introduce yourselves to each other. At any raate if there any change of fortunune , which is unlikely, it will affect that other person and not you.

Karmicresponse - All I can say is 'wow'. I have no connection with this person, and at most, we pass eachother throughout the day - We don't work in the same area. However, often times when we cross paths, he'll smile (or I will), and he usually says something (most times he just smiles). Nothing like "hello, hows it going?", but kind of teases me, in a joking sense. I had to talk to a supervisor for a minute or two, and after I begin to walk away, this coworker came up to me (on his way to his station) and said, "Why are you bothering him?", laughed, then smiled and went about his business. I have noticed I usually find myself scoping him out, I don't go out of my way though - Whenever I'm in his area, I'll be walking through and always end up seeing him. He is very quiet, shy ... Mysterious. I guess this dream deals with my subconscious level and my curiosity of this guy. I picked up a few details about him from a breakroom conversation, and found out that we enjoy the same game. I have wanted to talk to him about it, but never get the chance - I finally got to ask him something one time walking in from a break, but I'm like him, just very shy (since I don't really know him) - Soooo, whenever we're coming in from break and near eachother, I want to come up with something to say, just to talk to him, but never muster up the courage. I have a boyfriend, so I'm not looking to date him or anything, but I have to admit his mysterious side is rather appealing to me. I feel like we're the same person, almost ... And I know nothing about him! Anyways, thanks so much for your response!!
