Hi,
This is a dream to move you from a bad sleeping position. My guess is that you often turn onto your stomach when you sleep and need these dreams to move your arms or wake you up.
Next time you have theis type of dream try to check your sleeping positio! However the dream often moves you into a different sleeping position so you might not get the right position.
In sleep you often make or simulate the movements the dream suggests, so in these dreams your arms and legs might twitch and as you get near waking the movements become more pronounced.
If you're a lucid dreamer, sometimes you might wake up in the middle of a movement your dream makes you do.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Sleeping on your back is nearly as bad as sleeping on your stomach. Slepping on your back makes breathing difficult after some time and cause many bad dreams. There is also the problem of where do you keep your hands? You often end up with your hands on your chest or stomach and that makes breathing even more difficult. That is why your dreams make you move your hands. The dreams would also be causing heavy breathing.
Ask your girlfriend to touch your shoulder and apply gentle pressure towards turning you over. This will change your dream and often make you turn over without waking up. But tell her to keep a safe distance incase you land out at her!
Cheers Wolfjk

That's a beautiful wolf in your avatar, Stefan!

I wonder about your life reading this dream... do you slow down and take the time to smell the flowers, as they say? Do you take time for yourself? Are you a workaholic, on the fast track at your job? Do you feel as if you're always on the run, and can't keep up? If so, I think some time out enjoying nature, and some time for meditation, contemplation, that sort of inner stuff that allows for rest and slowing down, would probably put an end to the dreams. You may have to decide you don't need to "get ahead" so quickly, so that you can develop your head (mind!) instead! Do you want to get ahead or get a HEAD? Very punny, huh?

ive been trying to pay attention to my dreams before these running dreams. ive noticed their mostly dreams of pain somebody getting hurt or myself hurting someone. the hurt always seems to be someone i dont know their face is blur no defenition. sometimes the one i hurt (fight to the death) they seem to be trying to hurt someone before i step in. thats just what ive noticed before the running occures.

thank you all for your oppinion

the wolf is how i feel inside
