I had a strange little hypnapompic dream as waking this morning. It flashed like a series of photos, like the way old-time cartoons were made and you flicked the cards to get the impression of animation. I saw the silhouette of a fairly tall man. Then the man had a chain, like a necklace chain, in his hand. Then I saw a pendant, or maybe dog tags, on the chain, not clear enough to identify just what it was. Then I saw his hand throw the chain into water, like a pond. Then I saw the chain falling through the water (these last two were the only pictures with movement). Then I saw the chain hanging on an underwater tree or tree root, like the branches were worn by the water like driftwood is, but not all the way down, so the chain snagged on one, and there was a glint of light off the metal. That was it. EOD
Not a clue as to the meaning, though I suspect it's about someone, maybe one of my sons, who are all fairly tall young men. But I don't know what it's saying about him, or which son. Puzzling! I'm kinda hoping the one who is hanging onto the military might be quitting! |

Hi,
A chain necklace means a quarrel and argument. If washed means ending the fight but didn't, if fell into the deep water means good , A pool means a work place, A tree means a person deep under water means he has some power at work. The tree root under water means he won't pay him. Good luck.

Thanks Varzandeh,
Well, a quarrel or argument could be about my oldest son, as life seems to be nothing but that between us since he turned fourteen, and he's now forty! He's too much like his father, and actually, he's always quarreling with him as well, I think. He could also use letting go of dog tags, as he had PTSD following a tour of duty in Iraq during Desert Storm, and is still influenced by that. He doesn't have any respect for his parents at all, and it's odd that he's now in his second marriage, with a sweet little quiet stepdaughter, and he thinks he's King Tut in the parent department. I'd love to have my mother and stepfather tell him all about how easy I was as a child, bookish and into occupying myself, and how hard things were once they had hyperactive boys later on who got into drugs and alcohol during their teens, as did my boys. Quiet little girls are EASY to parent! I always wanted girls! LOL... kids! They are seemingly forever at loggerheads with parents, for sure, some of them never outgrow it! |
