Dreams, Ghosts, and Semi-Premonitions

I have been having these crazy dreams since i was 16 years old. I'm not sure about the reason for them or what, if anything, they represent. The dreams that i have are about people dying. Now here's the crazy thing: When i dream about the person dying, it's someone that i know personally. I am at the funeral and everything. When i wake up i will call that person just to make sure they are okay. But i already know that they are because my dream is never about the person that i dream about. In two days to two weeks, someone of the opposite sex that i know personally or someone of the opposite sex that someone that i know knows personally will die. When i used to tell people and they saw that it was happening they started thinking that i was crazy. I didn't like that feeling so i stopped telling anyone except for my mother. It makes me feel like i'm killing people off when all i do is try to get some sleep. so some nights i stay up and read and watch tv.

I can be sitting in my house and i will see sillohuette's of people walking down my hallway, walking into rooms, or just sitting near me. I've had one confirmation of one of the people that i've seen. He lived in the apartment that i lived in five years ago, but he was killed two years before i was born.

I came home about five years ago and my daddy's number was in my caller id. I called him and didn't get an answer. I immediately started crying and saying, "Oh My God! My daddy has had a heart attack!" I started calling his brothers and sisters and they had not heard from him. About fifteen minutes later my step-sister called and told me that they were at the hospital because my daddy had had a heart attack. Last year about two weeks before Thanksgiving I told my kids that i feel that my grandmother was about to die. I told them not today, but that she was not going to make it two weeks past one of the upcoming holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). On January 12, 2009, i got the phone call that my grandmother had just passed away. NOT a good feelin!!!

I don't really know what to make of any of this. Maybe there's nothing to make of it. I don't know. I will take into consideration any words of wisdom. Every little bit helps.

... well... im reluctant to post after reading about your dreams... but alas i have a job to do! lol... no it seems that you don't have any direct effect on these deaths but are just sensitive to the worlds order underneath all of its chaos and entropy... and just a side note with the its always someone else dying, that might be cause your sensitive subconscious mistakes them, or deliberately confuses them for whatever reason.... like how much of the prophesies are told in cryptic riddle so we don't know about them until or after they happen, such as 9/11... so like indras net, we are all connected! and your just catching more shine than usual!!

People live and die, and if you cast your net wide enough you can always find someone who dies! How do you you think the undertakers make their living? They don't feel guilty about burrying people, in fact they are doing an important service.
Your dreams dont have the slightest effect on anybody else. Dreams are about what happens in sleep, and don't predict anything.
It is all in your imagination!

Precognitive dreams and other intuitive knowledge of people's deaths are very common, and they don't mean, ever, that you have *caused* the deaths! It just means that you, for whatever reason, see it coming. I do that all all the time! Both with family members, and with world figures, though the ones with family are more long term, lots of dreams over a long period of time, and usually not until I start dreaming actual funerals and gravestones is it getting really close. With world figures, I usually only get one dream within a 0-14 day window of the event. But don't worry, you didn't CAUSE it! Okay? We can't do that. I think mostly these dreams show us we are psychically open, and they try to prepare us emotionally for the coming events.

I have no idea why sometimes the dreams come with the wrong person, though usually if I dream of the wrong person, they'll like have the same initials, which I gather from reading John Edward's books (John Edward {no s}the psychic, not John Edwards the politician) that it is common when getting psychic information to get only the first initial right. Or sometimes, it's someone with the same first name. That doesn't happen to me often, but it's happened often enough so that I believe it happens and is common.

All I can suggest is that you learn what you can about psychic abilities (_The Psychic Pathway_ by Sonia Choquette is a good starting place) and give yourself time to grow into this, while trying not to panic too much! It will be okay, and it's purpose will eventually make sense to you. Write your dreams in a journal to verify when you had them if only for yourself, and for gosh sakes, get some sleep! Nothing will make you into a basket case faster than lack of sleep!
