The Faceless Man

Sorry I originally posted this in the wrong section i think.


So I dozed off earlier today and took about a 3 hour nap. During that nap I had a dream in which i really don't remember much of until what seemed like the end of the dream. From what i last remember it was in a front room that looked much like my own front room at my house, except was all glass including my front door so i could see everything outside. I was standing watching with my dad out the window and a few other people that i was not familiar with and as i watched out the window i saw forming in the distance a Giant gate and walls and the sky became dark and almost a purple color. I remember feeeling very afraid and as things started unfolding and the structure became more visible i became more afraid and more uncomfortable. A man came out from the gate and there was a light behind him but he had no face. His face was orange/brown in color and had the texture of almost like...a worms body?!?! (no idea why but I distinctly remember seeing a close up shot of his face.) I soon saw over off in the distance what seemed like an explosion and i could see the shock wave, which was also purple, heading towards the room i was in a a decently fast speed and in a panic i ran and locked the front door hoping it would stop it or something. After the Shock wave hit where i was i remember it passed through me and at first nothing happened. Then about a few seconds later my dream jumped me to a place that was sooo dark I couldn't see anything at all and i felt as though i was kneeling down with my face looking towards the ground. I heard someone say something along the lines of you will obey him and i remember saying I will obey him, but only if he is God. As soon as i said God i was awake. It was the weirdest dreams i have had in a while and as soon as i woke up looked for a meaning for the faceless man and found this site =) sorry its a lot to read but hopefully someone can help.

Perhaps you should look for a "cause" insted of "meaning" for your dream.
When you have a nap you go to sleep with the intention of waking up soon. It is worse if you go to sleep on sofa or away from your bed.
The main point of your dream is this part:"i felt as though i was kneeling down with my face looking towards the ground" This indicates that you were sleeping in a very strange sleeping position, on your stomach with your bum in the air In this position breathing becomes difficult and your subconscious creates a dream to frighten you awake!

Well I did find myself on my stomach when I woke up, but was not in any unusual position that i noticed, but i didnt mention in my first post the main reason why i felt this dream was so interesting was because i have recently had a new found faith or belief? i guess you could say in God. Also, i did lay down in my bed intending to take a nap, but today I dont have to work or do anything really and was just going to sleep until i wasnt tired anymore.
