When I conceived my daughter quite frequently I used to dream of 2 white baby elephants pushing and trying to bring a banana tree down with force. The banana tree was laden with bananas.
Its been quite sometime now but I would love for someone to interpret this dream for me. |

Quote:
There is a bit of humour hidden in your dream somewhere! Eating bananas often causes indigestion and being pregnant makes you aware of the growing front! Quote:
Your dreams were iether caused by indigestion - which often happens in pregnancy, or the perception of carrying extra weight. Cheers Wolfjk

Hey, thats an interesting interpretation, but trust me it was definitely more than just an indigestion. I definitely did not have 9 months of indigestion but i sure did dream the same dream over and over again

Hi,
elephants are politicians elephant kids may mean kinda children of political people. A tree means a man or woman and a banana tree means a scientist or a rich person. Good luck.

I don't know that I can quite interpret this, but a white elephant appeared to Queen Maya in a dream to announce Buddha's birth. It is also to Buddhists the Jewel of the Law, the vahan of the Bodhisattva; compassion, love, and kindness.
Then I think of flea markets often being called "white elephant sales," and kind of go "hmmmm...." Interesting difference there. We say someone has gone "bananas" when we mean they're acting "crazy." Maybe this crazy tree is the one the elephants are trying to bring down, not a literal banana tree? Well, hope something there strikes a chord! |

well....i had a very uncomfortable sleep last night and it revolved around a strange creature which would try to cling to one of us (my sis was also with me in the dream and some other people i don't remember but family) and suck the life out of us, so throughout the dream we were simply trying to not let this creature get to us.
i had the dream because i was physically sick all night - had a headache which started before i slept and did not leave till after i woke and took a painkiller, many times in the night i woke because i felt i was choking in the quilt, i take it over my head some times. so for me scary dreams are a lot about physical discomfort. if it were not for the dream i would have choked and died in my quilt. |

The baby white elephants likely represent two sides of burden or responsibility that was inevitable for you (now that you were pregnant)...the responsibility of physically raising your child and the responsibility of the change of your way of life now that you were to be a parent.
The responsibility (the elephants) attempt to knock down the banana tree (the tree representing either a simpler way of life full of less than parental activities and or the fact that perhaps that the father of the child will also undergo change from his own childish or less than parental ways. sailrmc |
