The subconscious can use past experiences from any time of your life to create a dream.
The first part of the dream is always constructed to raise your awareness and get your brain working to an extent so you can understand what the subconscious wants you to do!
The salient point of your dream was:
"i turned away from the window" Actually the subconscious made you turn over in bed! In sleep if you sleep in an uncomfortable sleeping position, orsleep too long in the same position a dream will make you move turn over or wake up. However the subconscious can't make the body move! It is the brain percieving the danger that makes you move.
