I dreamt the other night that I was running through a forest looking for my white wolf. No one would answer me. I finally came across a school in the forest but the classroom was outdoors and the students were ignoring me. (This school was my old ultra conservative Christian college). Finally a man turned and asked me what my wolf looked like. I stated it was white and missing 4 permanent teeth ( I am missing 4 permanent teeth myself). He said it went that way and pointed. I began running and came across a mirror. When I looked into the mirror I saw a black wolf staring back at me.

The white wolf must have been a representation of you - or a part of you which you consider to have lost (to your regret).
I think the black wolf in the mirror was what you feel you have become since the loss of this other part of yourself. I could be way off but thats my initial interpretation. I'm not sure why the school was there - perhaps its somewhere you would have expected the white wolf version of you to have been happy or at least present? |

Black and white can also be a symbol for yin/yang. The dichotomy of our good/evil selves that every human being has. You are searching for that part of yourself that seems to be missing (like your teeth

in ur white wolf u were chasing an image of you in order to be valued only to be brought to a point where u did not get valued. then ur guide comes along and points u in the right direction where ur face to face with the black wolf and toothless and it is you and that is of great value.

Your dream is very interesting and rather a classic.
The subconscious mind has presented this dream as a way to acknowledge that you are in need of (or in the process of) becoming aware of your waking self... In plain English, you are in the process of learning from your rather wild waking life impulses. This all comes courtesy of the subconscious mind, the inner part of you whose job it is to bring awareness and acknowledgment to consciousness. One other innuendo is given...showing that your waking mind and the subconscious mind are both vital parts of the person that you are. They are both captive in the same body and even though they are completely different entities they both work for your benefit. In reality you stand to learn very much from the subconscious mind...hence the school reference is made. This is an awareness dream that helps to show you the make up that is there to help you understand your actions and advise you... sailrmc |

Quote:
Werewolf films are the flavour of the year. my guess is that you seen some films or heard someone talk about them! The dream is simply a waking dream; first come the storyline, then the rude awakening: "When I looked into the mirror I saw a black wolf staring back at me! WITHOUT THE FOUR FRONT TEETH PRESUMABLY! presumably! Cheers Wolfjk

I would consider this an awakening of something inside you - an acknowledgement of sorts, perhaps this white wolf that has you searching and finding yourself at your old school is the representation of you as a child, and when you finally find your "wolf" it is different - perhaps all grown up.
Perhaps you are facing some challenges in your waking life that distinguish this sudden maturity? |
