First, being my first post here, I'd like to say hello to everyone here.
Anyway; I've had a couple dreams recently, with similar themes. A note; both were extremely realistic, with fully perceived regular senses. If anyone could help me find the meaning of them, I would definitely appreciate it. The first one happened about a week ago. I was at a performance in a large, fancy theater (live performance, not cinema, and there was a lot of the color red, if that's significant). (The performance is the one thing that made sense, as my brother was playing a concert the next day, though not at a large venue, and not formal). I was in the audience. Everyone was dressed up; tuxedos and fancy dresses. I don't know what the performance was, as the dream started at the start of intermission. First, as people were moving to the lobby, a friend of mine who I haven't seen for a couple months turned around and started talking to me. He was a few rows in front of me. I don't remember anything that was said, but it was a positive exchange. The next thing I knew, I was in a small room directly off of the seating area. There was champagne in small, plastic wine style glasses. There, I ran into who I'd consider my most significant ex. (In real life, we'd recently gotten back in contact after a couple years. She contacted me, and we've spoken a bit over a couple months, but haven't gotten together in person during this time. There are no hard feelings between us, and I don't think she's interested in getting back together. I legitimately don't know where I stand on that. I hadn't really thought about her in a long time until she contacted me.) We spoke, and started heading back to the seating area with our glasses. She suggested getting together sometime, I agreed, and then I woke up. As for the second dream, I remember less, but what I do remember was much more vivid. This happened a few days after the first dream. I was at the house of the friend from the first dream, though it was his previous house (he hasn't lived there in over 5 years) and he wasn't there. It was the bottom floor of the house, and it was daytime, as there are several windows, and enough light was coming in to fully light the room. The only people there were me and my previously mentioned ex. I had the sense that there were other people around, just not on that floor. We were laying on the couch cuddling (don't worry, nothing explicit happens). My arm was around her, and I put my hand sort of on her stomach. She moved it, and said she was self-conscious about her body (very out of character for her. She's never shown concern regarding her body image in reality, at least not around me, and she also definitely has nothing to be concerned about). I re-assure her, she smiles, gets closer, and I wake up. With some elements, I may have an idea, but others have be baffled. I'm interested in seeing what others think this could all mean. Sorry for the wall of text; I wanted to make sure I didn't leave out anything significant. |

Hello back at you. And welcome.
I think you want to be with this Ex. You are bothered because you don't think she wants to get back together with you. On the whole, I don't think you should contact this person on any level, if you want her back, but she doesn't feel the same. I have to wonder if you don't wake up, at least in some small part, because you sense the danger here. |

Those are definitely some interesting observations.
I wonder if the details from the first dream mean anything, or if it was just random stuff surrounding the actual content of the dream. |
