I dreamed i had a son

So I dreamt(? ) I had a son and i was looking for him. I woke up thinking "Elijah, Elijah, where are you?" i dont know any elijah and i felt like he was my son, although i am too young to have a son (well i can but, yeah) and im not getting married or having any relationship like that. My friend also calls me a name that is like elijah(i know weird and im a girl)so would that have anything to do with it? Please help!

The main point of the dream was "I WOKE UP" That is what the dream wanted you to do. The waking element in the dream was the puzzle!

In the Bible, Elijah was a prophet who allegedly never tasted death, but was carried up to Heaven in a whirlwind in a chariot of fire. Jesus later said that John the Baptist was Elijah, come again (one of the passages reincarnationists use to support their theory that even Christians used to believe in reincarnation, including Jesus!). He once went into hiding after making prophesies that King Ahab didn't like, and while hiding, he was fed by ravens. Another similar incident, and he was fed by an angel under a juniper tree. He knew the "still small voice" of God. At the Transfiguration, he was on the Mountaintop with Jesus and Moses, who like him, was long dead. (And people say Christians don't talk to the dead. Jesus did!)

Supposedly, Elijah will appear with Enoch at the End of the World. Many who are waiting for the End of the World, expecting it in 2012 even because of the Mayan calendar ending then, probably really are crying out: "Elijah, Elijah, where are you?"

very interesting, i am a christian. .....but i think i,while my dream also has deeper meanings beyond the one i will tell you, i think this may be the main reason: my friend(that called me elijah(well kinda) is no longer my friend. I lost her.so as i lost elijah, i have lost her also....but ur answers were probably also right, iris, you know the one with elijah the saint (becuz the 12 is my lucky birthday and i hate it when people say the end will come then, or perhaps i just wish to go to heaven when i die).

Well, you know, when it comes to the end of time... Jesus said only the Father knows when that will be. Yet, humans still keep trying to predict it! We go through all this angst over it. Sometimes it builds up to absurdity, like at the turn of the millenium in 2,000... even one of my sons gave into the madness and bought some huge and expensive stash of food to prepare for it. And he doesn't even practice any religion, so it was strange. Or you see cults, like that Heaven's Gate one, who end up committing mass suicide when they think the end is here.

Now 2012 is the big year, because of the Mayan calendar ending then. I have to wonder if the Mayans (and it's interesting to note that in another culture, Maya is the Goddess of Illusion!) simply had to choose some kind of point to end the calendar, and figured later generations could project it out farther? Kind of like my 2009 calendar ends on Dec. 31, but someone will undoubtedly make a new calendar for 2010!

But no, there's all these people assuming that it's prophesying the End of the Whirled. It's enough to make a person's head spin.

Elijah is interesting though, and that you'd be calling out that name! I'm sorry you lost your friend. Do you have any memory of her ever talking about Elijah, or anything? There must be something that connects her with Elijah.
