This dream happened today - I woke up around 10a.m. from my dream ..
My sister and me, along with two great danes, were walking around Highland Memorial Cemetary (We grew up across this cemetary), searching for ghosts/spirits to communicate with. I remember the day seemed somber, the sky was overcast, the air was crisp and cool, might have been raining, JUST BARELY though - (The time was around 5p.m.) As we were walking around the grave yard, I recall asking questions out loud for any possible lingering souls ("What happened to you?, "Why are you here?", etc), hoping to get answers. I guess I was expecting the dogs to help us track down ghosts, but they walked around aimlessly like any dog would. My sister then said "You'd be surprised how long people stick around after they die!". As we continued searching the cemetary, I somehow ended up with a picture (kind of reminded me of an obituary but looked like a trading/baseball card that was wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve of some sort) of a dog, I believe it was another great dane or perhaps a german shepherd. One of the great danes was walking with me, so I knelt down to it and showed the dog the paper I was holding, and asked for him to find the dog in the picture, to see if his ghost was there with us. The picture itself was very tiny, kind of like a "thumbnail" size - I remember pulling back the crease/flap on the plastic wrap (like the kind on the back of chip bags) with my thumbs because it was in the way of the dogs picture, that way the great dane could see it better (Silly considering the dog probably wouldn't understand what a picture is, and what I was wanting it to do). I wasn't really expecting the great dane to find the dogs ghost, but about 5-10 seconds later, the great dane went around a tombstone and sat down infront of it, waiting for me to come around to him. I figured he was resting for a minute, but when I turned around and seen the tombstone, I got instant chills/goosebumps to see the same picture on the grave as the one I was holding! I'm guessing the great dane found this dogs ghost .. ? Upon looking over the tombstone, I don't remember this mysterious dogs name, but I seen the birth/death dates - The dog was either born sometime in January of 1945, OR died 1:45 on March 22nd, 1986 (thats one old dog!) And the date March 22nd, 1986 was very prominent in the dream - I couldn't remember much about the dog, just that specific date (And I have no idea who the dog is, or the great danes, and I don't know anyone born/died on 3-22-1986! Soo, not sure if that's of any importance). I sat there in the grass at the grave with the great dane with my arm around him, patting him and telling him "good boy" for finding me the dog. I felt calm and sad at the same time at the tombstone because of the dead dog, feeling almost a loss for it, and because I couldn't see the ghosts like the great dane could. Then I remember telling several people about what happened (The dane finding the dogs ghost), and thinking about March 22nd, 1986 - At that point, it was almost if I knew I was dreaming and tried reminding myself the whole time what I dreamt so I could write it down! Then towards the end of the dream, this pregnant girl from work was standing on the inside of the front door at my mothers house across the cemetary, opening the door for me, and when I seen her belly, I wondered to myself if the great dane could sense if anything was wrong with her unborn child, then the girl replied (without knowing what I was thinking) something about her baby being lucky if it'll even be born, weighing two pounds! WEIRD!! She then sat down to read the book, "My Sister's Keeper" (a book I've never read, but recently borrowed from a friend), and I continued to talk about what happened with the great dane .. SORRY THAT WAS LONG! Hopefully someone read it and can interpret for me, if there's anything really there to identify. Thank you for the time! Last edited by Ozdreem : 05-01-2009 at 11:04 AM. |

At my job, I have to remember LOTS of numbers (passwords, codes, product/store numbers, etc.) and so I can remember most any thing with numbers, but tend to forget names

Often one that we dream owes to our daily activities, not always - for unusual that is the dream - tends to a paranormal point. Lines, maps, equations, sketch and buildings are common in mine.
But it´s not bad be alert

oz i think that it means that you are as i said in your last one very intune with the supernatural side of life tell me do you ever see spirits when you awake from your dreams? do they look like they are in need of guidence? i know it sounds weird but maybe if you do and your dreaming of finding ghosts maybe your meant to help them understand whats going on and help them move on or that they can help you if you let them in this what i got from your dream here the great danes are to me a symbol of you seeing out these beings to help them the dog you found? the dogs spirit could be that of one you may have owned wanting to help you or you to help it with something or it could be the dog isnt a dog at all and related to persons or person you know or knew that needs some assistance
hope that helps |
