Need help with analzying a dream

I will start off by saying my grandfather died on May 2, 1994 from lung cancer. However up until the last few weeks I have never had any dreams about him.

So this is my dream last night:

I am in a hospital room in present day and my grandfather is there hooked up to oxygen. And no one has said it but I know he has lung cancer. I do not see any of my family members but know that they have been there and are coming again soon. This goes on over 2 months (this length of time is very specific) and when I go in to visit he is awake, alert, and off the oxygen. I start talking to him asking him what he thought of Kenzie (my 3 year old daughter- I also have a 12 year old daughter and she never is thought of our mentioned in the dream). He replied that he was kind of out of it for the last 2 months and that he would have a chance to see her again. He also said he he knew he had been gone for 16 years (and I knew then that he had been gone 15 years). Since he was feeling better we decided to get out of the hospital room. So we were driving around in this little car in the hospital since he was too weak to walk. As I was driving with my grandfather we passed by my grandmother in the hall. She looked dazed and disinterested which is not like her and I knew she had been out buying a car while my grandfather was sick in the hospital, also not like her. I told her not to worry I had Panpy and we were just getting some fresh air. And then I woke up.

I am kind of freaking out thinking that something bad is going to happen to either Kenzie or my grandmother.

Dreaming of male ancestors specially grandfather means a better situation is on the way.
If one wants to know how is her/his situation in the spirituals in the after life , she can see how the deceased people speak to her. If they were kind means her situation is the spirituals is good up to now.
