Falling, Landing and an Unknown voice?

I was falling, but not in a fast heart-racing way. It was a slow thing, like through water but without the water. (Sorry, I realise that makes no sense.) Then I was suddenly on a floor (carpetted, I guess, because it was soft and hard at the same time) but not as if I had landed on it, as if I had been there the whole dream. Then an unknown voice (familiar yet not) started talking, trying to wake me up. But then I heard my sister's voice (who was really waking me up, and I didn't realise it was her in the dream), and then the unknown voice was asking me not to go and how I couldn't leave again.

This makes absolutely no sense to me. Even a little light shed on this would be a bundle of help. Thanks!

A carpet somewhere except home means a travel on the way in around two months.

You were asleep means you are unaware of something, or you are in peace or you will pay your debts or if you are ill you will cure.
