I realized I was dreaming, but got pulled back into the dream..

i had a dream a long time ago.. and i can't remember what it was about. but i was in this room that looked a lot like a video game level. blank concrete-like walls and floors. extremely high ceilings.. like black at the top they were so high. there were ramps and things. anyway, i'm with some people i don't know and i stop and look at them. then i say 'this is a dream.. no way this is real' and they look at me and say 'no it's not. this is real' and i reply 'no this is a dream. watch. i can fly' then they tell me that i cannot. so i start running to the edge of this cliff type thing, and right before i jump off i almost stop because they might be right, but i regain my sense i suppose and jump off anyway. i start to fly then i slowly start sinking back down until i touch the floor again. they come up to me and say 'see. we told you it was real.' and i remember feeling dismayed then i'm pulled into the 'dream world' i guess you could say and i don't remember anything after that.

what exactly is that about?
