Default A Funeral - Help me interpret it, please

Hi, I came to this forums whilst looking for death premonition on Google. Let me give you the background:
On last October my Grandma passed away in a traffic accident, I didn't feel anything previous to it, no bad feeling, nothing that could allow me to foresee it. On December the 23rd my Aunt died from cancer, yet again, nothing special preceded it. Finally, on the debut of February this year, my father died, in this occasion I felt nothing in special, yet, a week earlier my young(4yr old) brother started crying afraid that something bad would happen to my dad.

Time has went by and it's been almost 2 months since the most recent event and life went on, a never stopping stream of events that pushes you along the way, never asking about your true will. Despite of it, the joy of life has been returning, and life seems to be going towards normality. Nevertheless throughout this week I have been overwhelmed by a feeling of pointlessness, a lacking of purpose, and my mind is very often flooded with questions like "What's the point in all of this?".. And in some moments I find myself thinking what would happen if everything was to end at that moment, how would people react and etc. I understood this as a natural reaction to my recent encounters with death and didn't pay much attention, barely wiping such thoughts out of my mind whenever they would occur.

But, yesterday I had a dream that startled me and made my heart rush to a degree of getting me up in a total alertness state, the following happened:

"I saw all of this ans an spectator. I laid in a perfect black suit, my body was perfectly still, in sort of an altar covered in carefully sewn white fabric. The room was neither big nor small, it appeared to me it could accommodate maybe 10 to 15 people; The floor was covered in polished wood and there were these wall-sized bookcases filled with every sort of book. Then, two women whose faces I could not seed, their skin pale as snow and dressed in Victorian black dresses and hats with a thin tissue pending from it to hide their faces, approached my body an left the two white roses they held right above my head."

After waking up I was rather uneasy and could only go back to sleep several hours later.

If anyone can help, I'd be very pleased.

Well dreams study prevailing mood. If you feel that there is no point then the dream takes you to that place. Dreams seem so much more profound. They can be premonitions. But if there is a rational explanation which linksto real life thoughts that you have just had then its that.

Nothing to worry about.

--------------------------------------
Dreams use metaphors to express our feelings. Its amazing how much we can link dreams to reality. Just see how often negative feelings in dreams will follow negative days. The dreams somehow capture our mood. The dog attacking us perhaps symbolises the argument we had the day before. The long tiring march perhaps links to the tough work schedule you have been set.

Dream interpretation is much more difficult. If you do not know what the dreamers state of mind is then its difficult to see what triggered a dream. Dreams are like poems in a way. There is a real sense of emotions in them. But dreams differ from poems in that they are a lot more disjointed. Strange things happen in the middle of the poem which seem totally bizzare. A parachutist may appear to symbolise the need for you to escape from some difficult relationship and make a safe landing. But that symbol appears weird and simply makes us laugh. We tend to laugh at dreams because they speak in such a strange language that we truly do not get them. Yet we know that they are significant yet lack the knoweledge to decipher them.

Try using this dream dictionary to piece together some meaning.

Hi,
Sometimes a bereeavement hits you later. Perhaps it is only recently caused you the depression and realisation it usually causes. At present you're a bit depressed.
Your dream is a normal waking dream in your situation. It is a dream dreamt to grab your attention and to divert you from one set of negative thoughts that got your emotions in a rut. By thinking about the dream you leave the thoughts of pointlessness behind and concentrate on the importance of life; Your own!!
As you have noticed, dreams don't predict anything that might happen in the future but are concerned with what happens in your sleep.
They try to help you.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi,
If you were dead and it was your funeral means you will have a managing position or a promotion.

Of course the black clothes may mean a sorrow around.Sometimes a fumeral is interpreted as a wedding and sorrow in the dream is interpreted as a happiness.
Two roses left by two ladies may mean two kids you will have a few years later.
