Carrying Large stones

I was at the bottom of a gorge with my wife and sons and I found these large sandstone rocks with the fossils of ferns imprinted of them. My wife wanted them so I picked one up and it was heavy. I asked for help, but nobody would so i set it down and i sat on it. Then she asked me why I wouldn't carry it. I explained that it was too heavy for me to carry alone and that they should go on without me.
During my next dream, my dad had an antique semi truck. He asked me if I would travel with him in order to deliver it to a buyer. So I agreed and we got in the truck and he began driving. We drove a short distance to a diner and he made a right turn. There was a sleazy woman who greeted and pulled up a garage door. she directed him to pull in the truck. Then she asked to see the engine. So he lifted the hood and she was delighted. Her cat jumped up onto the engine and I thought it would be burned, but it wasn't. Her and my dad flirted with each other and I couldn't help but think, what would my mom think.

The stones were brown, neither white nor black.
