Earthworms and the ocean!

I cannot recall all of the dream.

It involved me taking a nap, or being asleep, and while I was asleep, my 8 year old son and a few of his friends managed to float me on top of the deep mud out to the ocean where they were standing just above ankle deep in water. The view from the ocean looking towards the cove of the beach I remember as a child and took vacations there when I was 9/10 years old.

I awoke when I felt the wash of the waves over me to find myself being kept afloat in the starfish position and these mischevious boys had put hundreds of earth worms on top of me and they were wriggling around into my bra, and into my underpants through my shorts and T-shirt.

The boys were laughing at me and found it highly amusing that I was distressed by having all of these worms on me. I chastised my son for carrying out such a prank and he and his friends starting running away from me towards the beach. I then tried to clear all of these worms off me and was somewhat upset and irritated at their horrid joke.

Does anyone have any observations about this dream please?

Hi,
This was a waking dream. The subconscious often uses the emotion of annoyance as a waking agent. However it is likely that something was actually irritating your skin while you slept. Perhaps you were too hat and had an itch, or a fly landed on your face. Even the airconditioner could have caused the dream.
