Default Malls

Recently, I've been having tons of dreams that take place in Malls. I don't really understand the meaning of that...but if its re-occuring I figure it must be kind of important. So what do mall settings mean in dreams?

The mind draws parallels that, when overlaid to the waking life of the dreamer should strike a chord. I know that is a bit simplistic but many dreams are architecturally constructed in this manner.

With this in mind consider a mall parallel to the myriad of subjects that the subconscious mind has to choose from (...subject matter that has been collected by the ever observant subconscious mind. All the subject matter that will be commented upon by the subconscious mind via your dreams awaits compilation. There is a protocal that the mind observes when it comes to which subject matter needs to be covered first. Fear is number one the list and safety is second...then thousands compete for their place afterward.

It is likely that you have no fear or safety issues that need covering at this time because the you have gone to the mall (the place where the dreamer often can choose the subject that is of interest for that particular night).
There are departments and countless shelves etc where representations of subject matter are conveniently placed. When the dreamer becomes interested in a particular object the subconscious mind begins to script, cast and present the dream for the dreamers consideration. Many times the resulting "type" of dream" when chosen at "the mall" is a pleasant subject.
Many recreational dreams are enjoyed after a mall setting.

Sometimes the dreaming mind actually shows the processes of the mind by choosing to show way dreams are selected. All of this creates better understanding of the mind and helps to show legitimacy of the dream process. In this sense a dream would be considered to be an tool by which the dreamer is acquainted so as to facilitate understanding.

I find it particularly incredible how the mind patiently goes about it's process' and shows it's work to allow for better understanding.

What an incredible gift the subconscious mind is!
Regards,
sailrmc
